Can't scale pictures since ios7 update

I agree as the picture that I put up for my home screen is zoomed in, looks pixelated and just is not what I would want. It is as if they used the same code to manage the "desktop" pic as the feature in iPhoto where you choose the representative picture for a given event.

Running ios7 on an iPad 4 w/ retina display. How very annoying to lose the ability to resize and view backgrounds. Not to mention FaceTime and iMessage no longer work. Did anybody beta test this before inflicting on the rest of society. God I miss Steve Jobs... He would be having a fit right now.

I think they purposely pushed out iOS7 just to meet the kick-off before the holidays, those bonus checks must that good to shortchange us!

I agree, this is a very basic feature, and now all of my favorite background pics look crazy and cut off. Even worse, when you select something it zooms the pic in even more. How did something so basic and obvious get by QA? ...

i think they are aware of this, Apple probably made the image be zoomed in automatically due to the parrallax effect that is present. if the image wasnt zoomed and you moved the screen to the side there would be a black bar on either side because of this new feature (parrallax).

Well, I wouldn't mind the zooming in part, but still should be able to scale and resize image easily, as before. :(

I sure hope an app is not apples solution for something that should be a given in the phone's settings. I really hope they fix this soon. So so disappointing.

I found a... solution I think...

A friend told me that his iPhone works fine. So I just turned my iPad to face PORTRAIT and not LANDSCAPE and the zoom in/out works (pinching). A little laggy still, but I can resize a little. It should work on landscape mode too, case this way you can only get the max Height of PORTRAIT view.

I upgraded to IOS 7 and now I can not resize my pictures to use as wallpaper. When you open picture to resize it says (move and scale) it doesn't work. I sure hope they fix this. I have vacation picture I want to use as wallpaper.
