Can't scale pictures since ios7 update

I am having thr same problem on my iPhone5. Can't move and scale my photos to use as a wallpaper. They are huge ... much too large for the screen. I tried using InstaSize and SimpleResize but they did not work. I may have to play with them some more.

Well, sadly, I updated my iphone 4s and the same thing is happening...can't scale down any photos for the home/lock screen...next phone is going to be an Android *sigh*

Do Apple respond quickly to these complaints and posts? The move and scale wallpaper issue isn't huge but it's mighty irritating and does detract from the download. Dear Apple....please tell us that you will fix this quickly!?

Hi, I just fixed my scaling problem by taking a screenshot of pre-scaled image and using this, worked great! Found the idea on yahoo answers

Meera flame..... this might be a stupid question. But can you explain how to take a screenshot and how did you pre-scale the image. Thanks, Maria

My wife was having the same problem with her new iPad...the move and scale would not let her zoom out to show the part of the picture near the top that she wanted. I went into "Settings -> General -> Accessibility" and set "Reduce Motion" to "On". That took care of the problem...the move and scale worked correctly after that.

Afg83, I tried what you did on your wife's IPad but it did not work for me. I need to resize pictures to use them for wallpaper. Glad it worked for her needs.

Same here....can't scale images either on an iPad 3rd Gen with IOS7

I just want to add my voice to those who would like a fix from apple- what was a fun simple task has been made more onerous. Thanks for the get around suggestions from folks in the community, but as someone who likes to change pics frequently just want to set my pics as wallpaper without having to carry out further operations.

You wouldn't need to modify all your photos, but just a few favorite ones, until Apple comes up with an official solution.

That is what I did and I enjoy my personal wallpapers in the meantime.

Just crazy. This is ridiculous. I'm also having the same problem, it's very upsetting when I can't resize my photos AND when it's so laggy. I paid 600 dollars for this device... I expect it to work properly or give back the option to go back down to iOS 6. I regret upgrading. At least I know not to update my iphone. If this is how it's gonna be the. I'll move over to Samsung.

And I also would like to say thanks to people providing apps to fix it, but it shouldn't have to come to that.
