New iOS 7 hurts my eyes. How do I switch it back?

Hey Guys question,

I have 3 Iphone 4S and as a former android user I can say confidently they're great phones with the IO6 software, But my wife downgraded to IO7 last week (supposedly wile trying to upgrade another app on her phone.) I won't say how bad it is in both aesthetics and operation because my posting will probably get deleted and I'd really like to know the answer to my question. So after going everywhere else to try to get it back to OS6 I went back to my carrier and got a new phone with OS6 still on it.

SO the question is: How do my wife, my daughter, and I upgraded apps. on our phones without upgrading the it's operating software?

At the moment, nearly no app needs iOS 7 to run. The highest I've seen is iOS 6.0. While on iOS 4 (last week), I could still download most apps on the App Store. Now, I don't download any app... Because iOS 7 has reset my iPad and won't allow the restore!

So is there no way we can go back to iOS 6 my little boy has Autism and has just gone mad as all the icons have changed, I was stupid to up grade but had no idea it would be this much of a visual difference, also upgraded my iPhone 5 and now lost some notes I have written and hate the immature icons etc. has anyone got any ideas?? Please!!

There are a lot more views than replies. Nobody I have talked to in the real world likes iOS 7. Everybody hates the look.

Have you tried to perform a factory reset? Do an iTunes sync first and verify that you have everything on your computer because the factory reset will restore the device back to factory settings. I believe (but I haven't tried this) that your phone will go back to exactly the way it was delivered to you from the factory. I did this after I did jailbreak and when I reverted back to the OS that came on the phone, jailbreak was gone like it was supposed to be on my iPhone 4S.

I'm still getting used to the icon color scheme and the new graphics too. I don't really like it so much either but I did set my wallpaper to black and it seems to help offset the horrible artwork.

a factory reset does not wipe out the operating system. You can erase all content and settings and set it back up and you'll still have iOS7.

ios7 is so bad and so much resembles a microsoft half-baked product, that i want to throw away my apple devices and go to android or worse. I hate anything that has a design resembling Windows and behaving like bloody Windows. EVERYTHING about ios 7 is anti-Steve Jobbs. Who is the moron at Apple who thinks these counterintuitive designs, and rachitic fonts, and spidery drawings of signs and the rest of this unacceptable mess could possibly be desirable? HOW TO GO BACK TO IOS 6, someone help. this comes from a dedicated apple user, since Mac Classic......Why, oh, why did you leave idiots to run Apple, Steve? This ios7 is a disgrace and it will cost you, Apple. Give us back ios6 or burst and die

There is no going back, you agreed to the terms and conditions upon installing IOS7, of which most people like.

But internal changes and settings can be made on boldness and brightness. Suggest adjusting same. 😊

As for IOS7, you need same for development of added features and updates, and would recommend same,...as such....

Unfortunately, Apple does not allow downgrading your iOS, you would be violating Apple's laws and rules.
