Don't include me in your generalization of accusations of people and what they comment on.

Calm down?! Geeze. Guess I inavertedly really hit a sore spot, didn't I. Wow, you ARE sensitive. I guess you should practice what you preach. My orginal comment which you responded to was addressed to kdboxx, and not to you. In any case most posts on this thread have demonstrate that most naysayers think iOS7 is unusuable, crap, no good, whatever (insert your favorite adjective). While my comment was not specifically addressed at you, if you find yourself alluded to, then perhaps there is some truth in the statement. And you know what...nobody here (including me) really cares.

Again, have a nice day.

You were clearly addressing me, sir. Like I said, you are free to have at me on my site. I'm far from touchy or sensitive.

And if FelipeV claims that he doesn't care(presumably he only cares about giving technical advice and topics, which is fine), I have no idea why he continually condecends to make disparaging comments at posters on this forum, and get into the emotional(non-technical) discussions. If he practiced what he preaches, then I would think he should stick to giving purely techical advice and not be so argumentative on emotional topics. It's as if he cannot say one negative thing about Apple products(or Apple itself), and support that if Apple were to say "FelipeV...Please jump off the cliff"...He may actually jump.

And if you argue that you don't like IOS7, he'll probably state that you had plenty of time to check out IOS7 on webpages and screenshots(even a beta test), so you made a very uninformed choice to upgrade to IOS7. Either you live with it, or you can buy a non-Iphone phone. (again he may be typing it with a grin...I'm not entirely sure, but I suspect he is).

All of that is true. What's the problem?

Ah, there is a big difference between going online and looking at pictures of a car and then actually getting behind the wheel and driving it. Apple's pictures, etc. focused a lot on their ugly icons. What I didn't see, and what one doesn't get the feel for, is how bland, white, more difficult to differentiate menus, text, etc. that the new design is until it's in your hands.

The phone still works. But no forum poster here, no matter now many levels or points he or her has, can alter the opinion of a growing chorus of Apple users (some like me who have been using Apple products since the 80's and have spent tens of thousands on Apple products over the decades) that the new interface is a surprising departure from intuitiveness, useability, and style that Apple is usually known for. iOS 7 is ugly, too bright, and thus, a disappointing experience for something that cost quite a bit.

That would be why Apple has demo models, table after table of them in their stores. The carriers all have demos. No one had to update right away. No, I don't have much patience for people who jump in to something without doing their own due dilegence and then have problems that they could have avoided.

I've no interest in altering your opinion. In fact, my interest in your opinion only extends as far as hoping Apple continues to disagree with you as I think iOS 7 is one of the best things Apple has done in years and I'd hate to see them take a step backward. To that end, I have taken my own advice and submitted feedback.

Best of luck.
