iOs 7 on iPad 3

Hello there.

I have ipad 3, new ipad with 16gb and 3g hardware.

Did you notice battery drain? I had my battery down in something like 4.30 hours.

The keyboard is really slow, i noticed an important lag during the use of it!

Wifi perfomance is really bad.

The only thing the customer care answered me is that they have no information about this, and i'm the only one experencing this problem........

Someone noticed the same?

Thanks

iPad (3rd gen) Wi-Fi + Cellular, iOS 7

The ipad air is crashing like crazy, you will find out soon enough.

If your iPad Air is crashing frequently, you need to take steps to deal with it, first the standard troubleshooting steps (reset, restore, restore as new) and then, if that doesn't work, take it your local Genius Bar. It's not normal. There's something wrong. My iPad Air has yet to crash (yes, I have an iPad 3 and an iPad Air).

I don't believe I'm some sort of abnormally lucky person. Over the course of 3 (4?) iPod Touches, 4 iPhones and 4 iPads, I've had three problems, of which two were my fault. Once I spilled coffee on an iPod. I dropped an iPhone in water. My iPad 3 stopped getting a cellular signal. Apple replaced it.

I'm sure you are a very light user. I am a power/heavy user. I open multiple tabs, I multitask multiple apps. 1 GB RAM is not enough for IOS7 and the 64 bit CPU.

One thread discussing this alone has 30,000 views. Light users will discover the crashes later, heavy/power users have already found the ipad air to be unusable.

Don't you have something else to do? These forums are for people having issues. Obviously, you have no issues.

Life is too short to waste in a forum participating in threads that dont pertain to you...

  1. You don't get to decide who can and can't contribute to a thread. this is an open, user-to-user forum. I might also point out that thread concernedc iOS 7 on an iPad third generation, not the air, so you are also off topic.
  2. You alsop need to recognize you are not the center of the universe and your individual expereinces with the device do not in any way constitute the entirety of the user expereince. Nor are you in anyway unique in bering a heavy user. The vast majority of user of iOs 7 are not experiencing issues.

If you wish to post some additional details about your situation, someone may be able to offer some assistance. Otherwise, you are wasting everyone else's time.

That assumption is both arrogant and incorrect.

Who do you think helps the people with issues? Since you are not, the rest of us will have to continue to to our best.

Best of luck.

Pls stop it, you are filling this discussion with something that we don't need. The problem is real, and apple knows it. Tons of people suffer of the same problem, is not an occasional isolated bug, it's an issue tha every ipad 3 has. If someone can't see on hos ipad 3 the problem, it's just because make a different use and a lighter use of the tablet. Just this.

Thanks for joining us and telling us you have no problem, every experience is useful, but we don't need Off Topic messages.

Thanks to everyone.

No, it's not a problem every iPad 3 has. That's my point. No one is saying you are not having problems. However, there are most likely multiple problems being reported here with possibly different causes. Just throwing up your hands and saying, "It's a global problem. Apple needs to fix it, " isn't terribly productive. You can troubleshoot, deal with the issue, quite probably get it fixed or do nothing but complain. This forum is for people who which to do the first. If you want to do the second, submit your feedback to Apple using the appropriate link and then go wait quietly for the fix you think they should make.

Au contraire. I have an iPad 3, and personally know of at least a dozen other iPad 3 user running iOS 7. NONE of us are having that issue. ALL of these users, including myself, are indeed heavy users, for both personal and business needs, including exceptionally large files and integration with very complex back office systems.

I never stated that some of the folks posting did not have problems, just that is was rather isolated and based on the information provided was not a universal bug, but pertained to specific machines and configurations.

Can you resize the custom image and se it as wallpaper from the settimgs? Really? Ios7 on ipad 3?

I've never tried. iOS 7 has limitations on resizing images from what I've read. It seems to be a function of iOS 7, not an issue with iOS 7 on iPad 3s. I don't spend a lot of time changing wallpaper on my iPad because, well, I'm too busy using it.

And, no, I will not be making or posting any videos on YouTube. Should I find any information that I think would be helpful here, I will explain it with actual words.

Best of luck.
