iOs 7 on iPad 3

Hello there.

I have ipad 3, new ipad with 16gb and 3g hardware.

Did you notice battery drain? I had my battery down in something like 4.30 hours.

The keyboard is really slow, i noticed an important lag during the use of it!

Wifi perfomance is really bad.

The only thing the customer care answered me is that they have no information about this, and i'm the only one experencing this problem........

Someone noticed the same?

Thanks

iPad (3rd gen) Wi-Fi + Cellular, iOS 7

There is a known issue with using Settings to resize the wall paper. However, an image editing app such as PhotoShop Touch or PhotoPad (PhotoPad may be free; there are also many others) will allow you to resize the image and save to the Photo app camera roll. (The photo app only allows cropping, which might work for you, but in many cases would not)

The sizes/aspect ratio you want to use should be the following:

iPhone 5/5C/5S: 1,040 x 1,536

  • iPhone 4S: 1,040 x 1,360
  • iPad (3rd, 4th gen): 1,936 x 2,448
  • iPad Mini: 1,168 x 1,424
  • iPod Touch (5th gen): 1,040 x 1,536

Like Meg, I don't fiddle around with wallpaper a great deal - for me it is pretty much inconsiquential other than providing a contrast with app icons.

Can you please, pretty please spare us with your obviously busy life? If you have no problems with your device, what are you doing here? Go and be busy! Some people want to get on with resolving the issue..

I have not been active in this thread since 10 December 2013. So, it's not as if I've spent a lot of time here lately. In fact, no one has. If you are having a problem with your iPad, you'll get more help by starting your own, new thread rather than tacking onto one that's been dormat for over two months. Use as descriptive subject line as possible, explain what you're trying to do, what error messages your getting and what trouble shooting steps you've already taken.

Best of luck.

Umm, irrelevant! I'll tell you why: having problems with my ipad 3 I started searching on the web, reading discussions on apple.com and so on. What I found, (not to my surprise) is that there are people who help, give feedback, make videos on "how to" and so on, but until now you've just splashed your ignorance about a pretty big precent of people having really big issues with their early tablets or iphones. It doesn't even matter if you're a power user or a user. The point of these threads is for Apple to resolve these issues.

If I want to give my ipad to my old parents, should apple expect my 70 yo mother to do all the tweaks and changes? So on to the point, until this thread is still open, I see no issues using it, exept of the slow speed that I'm faced due to IOS 7. Cheers!

I would like to remind everyone that this thread is NOT for dealing with iPad retina PROBLEMS regarding the new iOS. It is for expressing joy at how much faster the new iOS has made this model. After installing iOS and spending the time to properly configure it, my iPad retina has never been faster. I flung it from my roof and watched that sucker smash into pieces on my driveway.

In all seriousness, I solved my problems by switching from Apple. Good luck to everyone still with problems.

Do you suffer of "I got to have the last word" sindrome? And again with the patronising attitude. Do you really think I didn't search the issues my tablet has? And again, you just don't get the point! Are you saying that if I buy NOW an iPad 2-3 or iphone 4/4s I have to disable I dont know how many features just to make it usable? Youre more naive that I though. Anyway, now Im really wasting my time. Keep up the good work!

I can't say anything about what you might or might not need to do to resolved your problem as you have yet to say what your problem actually is. Again, if you want help, start a new thread, explain your problem with just the facts. If you don't want help, there is nothing to be gained by posting here further.

You may also want to consider making an appointment at the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store if you want direct help from Apple.

Best of luck.
