I have ipad 3, new ipad with 16gb and 3g hardware.
Did you notice battery drain? I had my battery down in something like 4.30 hours.
The keyboard is really slow, i noticed an important lag during the use of it!
Wifi perfomance is really bad.
The only thing the customer care answered me is that they have no information about this, and i'm the only one experencing this problem........
Someone noticed the same?

^ Because I expected better from Apple, and because the smoothness/fluidity/responsiveness of the iPad is one of the key reasons why I haven't already ditched it for a Nexus 10.
Ipad 3..really slow...need to wait 30seconds for the background to be changed.
Sometimes native apps crash and there is a huge lag in multitasking.
And also have some issues with home button not working properly.
I agree, it's not a disaster... But when you've become accustomed to the slickness of the iPad 3 running previous versions of iOS, plus the fact that my hardware is not 18 months old, I personally feel a bit short-changed.
Yes, my ipad 3 was great before this os7 update, everything has changed, my original look was great, now keyboard has issues, slow response, apple, you have some cheek ruining our iPads, Apple reliable was my reason for purchase, I never had any issues before upgrade, now it's a mess. I want my original previous os back.
Have you updated to the latest IOS 7.1 see if that helps

Good point, 7.1 ? Where ? When I click on software update, it says software up to date..!
It's not a disaster, it's a product that has issues, when used for business and personal life , and the for the price, it's not acceptable
Apple just don't care about iPad 3 because it is no more commercialized. It's a model that apple replaced after 9 months because was not a good hardware product. Now, heey don't need to care about it because who already have, has already paid for it, who have to buy something will buy the ipad 4 or new iphone... As you can see they upgraded iphone 5s and 5c and not the older like ipad FULL of bugs... I'm really disappointed... 650€ for what? ANd... The apple customer care "Have never heard about all this problems"...

Well this one customer they have lost.
The most noticeable lag that I've seen on my iPad 3 is with previewing/changing wallpaper and editing (be it photos that I've taking. As for the keyboard, I have only experienced a slight lag when it comes to switching between letters and numbers and symbols.
That's pretty stupid. I would not expect a patch update for the new iPhones since they just came out.
My mum has an iPad 3 and I updated hers, I have told her to use it a lot and so far it seems fine, I did turn off loads of crap that iOS7 loves to enable, but it doesn't seem too laggy.
And for those of you with lag, their is no reason what so ever on Gods earth why the iPad 3 with iOS7 is laggy apart from Apple made a rubbish job of it! It has a powerful dual core CPU with a quad core GPU! If it cannot run iOS 7 smoothly then Apple plainly hasn't bothered to optimise IOS7, or wants to try and force you to upgrade from your just over a year old tablet!
