Iphone 4s ios 7 battery issues

I posted this question in the basics forum, but it probably belongs here: Since installing iOS 7 on my iPhone 4s, the battery life seems to be significantly reduced, at least judging by how quickly my battery life percentage meter keeps dropping. I've gone through and turned off all sorts of settings, like location services on most everything, etc. Is anyone else experiencing a similar issue? Anyone know of any fixes?

iOS 7.0.4 is out and it does not have a battery fix in the description!!!!!!!!!!

I gurantee you all that Apple released this iOS 7 update to mess up our 4 & 4s on purpose!

I am sure Apple plan is to make us upgrade and buy 5s!

Guess what, I would rather use my motorola Razr than getting scammed by this company who has 0 respect for its customers!

Apple is way outta line! They JUST DONT CARE!

Techguy is just a spoiled brat with his information and advice, he hasn't even given the information that a person would give if they were to have been having hands on a Mac since 3rd grade. If you were who you say you were, you would not just say, it's a virus, buy a new iphone. Obviously this is a trick to advertise the posts with 12 year old suggestion trolIing. I looked over constantly for possibilities. Hopefully this isn't a trick from Apple to get people to get the 5 up. I know this can become a drag, and this might be something you have heard. Disable Cellular data, it is below Bluetooth in the Settings app, first thing you see. This is a major reason of the drainage of battery life, also slide down to the bottom of it and it will say, reset statistics, press it. It can be very annoying to go in and go out of, but what can we do? Hopefully we will only have to do this to get by until Apple hears us. If you guys need any more questions I will try to get it for you. (I love helping people 😀)

When I first upgraded to ios7, I like all other 4s owners had battery issues (going flat by midday without use). I turned off all the recommended features and done the hard reset and admit performance improved to levels similar (but never as good) to IOS6.

Since the 3rd patch release, my phone has gone back to battery drain. My phone was on charge all night and has lost 50% in just under 4 hours with no use!!

A couple of weeks ago, I was getting a full day out the phone and going to bed at around 23:00 with about 15%.

I have booked an apt at the Apple store, but don't have high hopes. Premium phones should not be draining within 8 hours, without heavy use and all features disabled.

someone needs to drop a lawsuit on apple... not that anything will come of it... and its only 50$ to drop a small claims court... but the thing is Apple will then have to respond. Not only that but it will produce a lot of attention.

Highly recommend everyone reposts this every time they attempt to censor this. This is exactly what needs to happen. It would set an excellent precedent. If they don't show up you will get a summary judgement. Can you enforce it? Maybe not but it would be a symbolic victory that might generate the right interest and attention.

Apple has been creating horrific bugs with iOS releases, refusing to acknowledge them and then stiffing the customers with the problem. I had the same thing with an iPhone 5.

Apple really is company that does not stand behind their products at all. I've experienced the worst warranty/repair/replacement service in my entire life with Apple.

I think that iCloud syncing would be the cause of battery drain.

When my 4s was on 7.0.3 it has not these problems.

Battery life was good, over one full day and during night, in airplane mode, it loses only 1 or 2% life.

After update, immediately has a great decrease battery performance, draining 60% in 2 hours, becomes very hot (a significant CPU work, I think...).

On my two iPhone4S the excessive battery drain starts at 13th November. Everything was OK before.

I already wiped one of the 4S to see if it has something to do with an app - but no wipe, no reset, no "deleting email account", drop calendar, stop icloud-sync or anything helps!

It is really annoying.

I think the strange thing is, that something runs wild in the background. I charged it to 100% and then is was in standby over night till the next morning, but the stats said it was used for 3h22m ?!?:

The phone gets hot even if its just laying on my desk!

The two iPhones are unusable since then! I really thought about buying an Android-Phone...
