Iphone 4s ios 7 battery issues

I posted this question in the basics forum, but it probably belongs here: Since installing iOS 7 on my iPhone 4s, the battery life seems to be significantly reduced, at least judging by how quickly my battery life percentage meter keeps dropping. I've gone through and turned off all sorts of settings, like location services on most everything, etc. Is anyone else experiencing a similar issue? Anyone know of any fixes?

Same story here.

My iPhone 4 was working flawlessly and battery charge was lasting up to 2 days of normal use, until I upgraded to iOS 7.0.2. After being forced to update the battery drains from 100% to 0% in 6 hours in standby and one 15' phone call would kill about 40% of battery charge!!!

The phone is unusable as it is now as I need to keep it constantly plugged to charge to be able to have few hours of autonomy in normal use!

The problem is 100% software-dependent and iOS7-dependent.

I change the battery with no better results, and, again, no problems whatsoever before iOS update!

Basically Apple policy of forcing me to update my device against my will and installing a broken operative system screwed a perfectly fine device!!

Apple store solutions did not work. They restore the system at factory default with no improvement!!

As Apple does not admit this problem, I doubt they will work on a fix with the next upgrade of iOS7.

My iPhone is screwed ....and Apple lost forever a customer. I reluctantly will buy a Samsung now.

...turn off you 4s and leave it on charger. It will last all day!

Used Facetime for less than 15 minutes from a 98% charge and my phone ended up ending the call by shutting down on low battery. I have shut down all serivces (mentioned in this thread by 4s owners!) and all other suggestions have been tried.

Hellloooo APPLE. This is absolutely ludicrous. Does Apple address these issues anywhere???

techguy3347, before writing, please read the posts of the blog you are responding to. If you had read my post of Oct. 16th, you would have had your questions answered. It is not an hardware problem! Again, refer to my previous post.

And the reason why such an issue was not heard of before is because iOS 7.0.2 did not exist "BEFORE". Again, if you had read, then you would know that (at least in the case of my phone 4), everything was working super fine before updating to iOS 7.

Upon multiple visits to different apple stores, apple techs also agreed that it cannot be due to hardware, as they did not find any diagnostic sign of hardware problems.

Thank you

As the originator of this stream, I congratulate you on your flawless Apple performance. Yet, what we are experiencing is far from unfounded. I owned an exquisite iPhone 4s the morning before I downloaded ios7. Now I endure a corded charge dependent, app disabled sub-Android. My patience is exhausted with pitiful work-arounds leaving me wanting for the humble dependability of a flip-phone that once cost me a tenth of this nonsense both in equipment and mandated service charges.

I am far from alone:

Hey TechGuy - the reason we are on this post is to hopefully find a fix or let Apple know that we are having this problem. Unlike you, we have a IPhone 4s in our hands and are able and capable to determine that the problem started immediately with the downloading of IOS7. The fact that you, as a self professed expert, have "personally not heard of this issue myself" is irrelevant. I have been speaking to an Apple advisor and they were stupmed. Stop pontificating on issues that do not relate to you. As a self proclaimed "Apple expert" you think you would know better...Just sayin.
