SOLVED

I had tried all of the suggested ideas on this thread with no luck what so ever. o2 even sent me a set of numbers, hashtags and stars to enter into the iphone to reset it.... No luck there either.

The only thing that worked for me was to order a new sim card and have my number transfered over to the new card. BAM, straight away it worked.

Headache over 🙂

I am having the same problem! Works just fine on my phone but not my ipad. All my apps work and I know for a fact that my network is fine because I can get on the internet, and I get my emails! I have tried resetting my network connection in the settings and that didn't work, I have plugged my ipad into my computer and that didn't work either. Come on Apple! Get this problem fixed!

I TRIED THE FIRST METHOD AND IT WORKED FOR ME .

  1. Turn FaceTime or iMessage off and then back on in Settings.
    1. Launch Settings by tapping the icon on the Home screen
    2. Scroll down to Messages or FaceTime
    3. Toggle the switch from on (green) to off (white)
    4. Wait a minute
    5. Toggle the switch back to on (green)
    6. Wait for it to re-activate
  2. Hard reboot your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad
    1. Make sure you're on Wi-Fi
    2. Hold down both the Home button on the front, and the Sleep/Wake button on the top of your device
    3. Wait for the Apple logo to appear
    4. If it still doesn't work, repeat step 1 (turning FaceTime or iMessage off and on)
  3. Reset network settings
    1. Launch Settings by tapping on the icon on the Home screen
    2. Tap on General
    3. Scroll all the way to the bottom and tap on Reset
    4. Tap on Reset Network Settings
    5. If it still doesn't work, repeat step 1, then step 2, above (Turning FaceTime or iMessage off and one, rebooting).

I've tried all the 'fixes' in this section, and multiples I've read on different forums. They work for me... for about a day, sometimes only a few HOURS. This is really starting to make me angry, REALLY APPLE? really? first iWork for iOS problems, now this crap. I hope someone fixes this problem, because at this rate, as soon as my 5S comes in the mail, I'll be returning it promptly.

This is unacceptable.
