iPhone 5s Power Button Loose/Rattling Noise

Today I had scheduled a Genius Bar appointment for my loose rattling power button. I can hear it rattle when I record video and move around, the video even records the sound and it interferes with the video. It is also bothersome, in general, to have a rattling noise on my phone. The "genius" had me unlock the phone (since I have a passcode/fingerprint I.D) and he took it to the back to take a look at it, came back and said there's nothing wrong and that it's the "vibrating motor." Yeah, sure. I place my finger on the power button and move my phone and it has 0 rattling, when I let go it rattles like a maraca. I then asked him if he could open it and try and fix it for me, and he told me that he had just opened it and everything checked out fine. Another lie, he gave me my phone back unlocked and into my settings. If he opened it it would have been turned off, and on again which would request my passcode which he doesn't have. My previous iPhone 3/4S/5 has never done this and I see it as a simple fix if they were to really open it. I have fully purchased a new iPhone every year for the past 3 years and when I encounter a problem I'm lied to and told there is nothing I can do about it. I'll be scheduling another appointment soon in hopes I get a different employee that will actually help me.

What I want to know is, is there a fix to this?
When I take videos it captures the rattling noises ruining the video.

well guys it seems like we 're all suffring from the same issue and apple still ignoring us and lying about the problem? so why dont we teach them a lesson? each one of us must return the phone and get the money back...this way they will learn the lesson very well. am gonna do that tomorrow and get a temporary phone or an other brand untill they fix this rattling noise...and any one who's willing to do the same please replay to this post and let me know....from what we've seen , complain by it self doesnt do anything!!! even we'll keep talking about this issue till 2015 am sure nothing will change until we affect thier profit. so plz go return the iphone 5s.

Bump. Has anybody been able to get it swapped by able for a phone that doesn't rattle? I posted a few weeks back, but have not went into apple because I don't want to get a different phone if I am going to get the same issue. Anybody have any luck?

Apple needs to address this. I just took a video of my 2 kids at Halloween with their costumes and everything and the video is completly ruinied by that clicking noise that is coming from the loose sleep button. Please don't try to convince me that it is the lense. It isnt. It's the button that rattles.

I took mine back to apple 3 weeks ago. It rattled really bad. I posted earlier in this thread that I had internal apps crashing causing my phone to be very slow.

I took back to apple and they replaced it due to the crashing internal apps. This was 3 weeks ago. My replacement does not have the lose top power button. However, it did come witha pretty good nick in the side bezel by the SIM card port. I decided I would live with the scratch vs living with the lose power button.

What would you do? Would you live with a small scratch in the shiny part of the bezel. Or a spotless phone with a lose power button?

Something like a phone i would never change beacuse of so little problem like a scratch as long as it has no influence on the function. I dont even put it in a sleeve. I use it everday and in two years i get the next so i dont really care. And even when if you put it in a sleeve you cant prevent it from getting scratches.

For example if the button was only loose i would keep it without even thinking about a change. But the clicking makes recording ggod videos nearly impossible so...

But I have to replace it anyway beause of a slanted camera
