jmco, thank you for describing so underestimated problem with iphone 5s, there's almost no information about it on the web, i thought that i got some kind of defective phone, as i see iphone 5 of my gf is performing perfect in terms of closing apps and folders (ios7 "zooming" animation). but i want to make clear if 7.1 beta fixed two different lags, as i can distinguish:
1. First and most annoying animation lag that i have is when i close the app, when it's almost on home screen, i definetely see frame drop at the end (stutter), it make animation not smooth. Most of apple apps are affected: calendar, mail, settings, etc. When it's zooming out to folder, that cointains that app, 99% that it won't lag, i think it's because there's not much graphics to render. It happens mostly when i zoom out to desktop full of app's icons. That's what i hate and want to fix.
2. Second lag is when you close the app, and when app is finished closing and you see the apps icons, the icons grid is being shifted maybe millimeters left or right. It is obviously linked with parallax effect, it seems that position of icons grid is being calibrated and matched with sensor data, that's just what i think that might be. This thing is not very annoying, but i wonder what is the future of this lag in 7.1 beta.
Please tell which of these lags did you suffer from, and do 7.1 fix them. Thank you!
