iPhone 4s iOS7 - won't sync music or video - cancels sync and hangs.

The sync stuck on "waiting to apply..." drove me off the f**king wall ! And on the handful of times it worked it synced my entire music library! Crazy!

I finally restored my iPhone 4s as a new iPhone. It's been a week and i haven't had a sync problem since.

Obviously it is a bug because why else would SO MANY of us be having the same issue? I am **** near ready to go out and buy a BlackBerry. The reason I keep buying iPhones is because everything syncs so well. Or at least it used to.

I've done this six times and still won't sync a thing.

I have the exact same problem and nothing works !!!

Can't sync iphone 4 with latest IOS7 and latest Itune.

It seem to back up (i hope) but impossible to put any media in or out etc.

I have even tried to revert to an ios 6 something on my iphone 4 but no success.

when i had an IOS6 i could not sync with itune as i had not upgraded, now i did i still can not !

Apple are very good quality product, But I will no longer buy an apple product again as this problem will occure in the future when new generation of products and update will come out.

I got it to put all of my music back finally. In the Summary I unchecked all of the options and synced. It put everything including things I previously unchecked in my library. I attempted to resync using the Sync only checked items but its not working. So I don't know.....

Ugh. My 4S is finally back -- sort of. It would get hung up when I synced too. Even though I did a backup, many of my apps are still missing, though.

Before I restored my phone from a backup, though, I followed the tips in this article about the messed-up IOS 7 update: http://readwrite.com/2013/10/15/ios-7-fixes-iphone-4-4s#awesm=~omrI3DqsEFozuH. I don't know if this is what helped, but I tried several times before without success.

Like some of you, I am about ready to jump ship and try out the Galaxy or Windows phone next time! I don't need to be wasting my time every time there is an update.

Same problem here. About to try the restore. backing up as much as I can first. I don't trust these updates anymore. Annoying.

I wouldn't restore. Seems like an unnecessary step now. I don't even think you need to reinstall iTunes either.

Try this: Plug in your phone and open iTunes. On the sidebar click "Your" iPhone > Summary... go down to Options and uncheck everything. Then sync. By doing that all of my music was restored to my phone. Never had issue with my apps so that was fine. Afterwards I checked "Sync only checked songs and videos", resynced and everything was back to normal... for now.

Same problem here, can Apple please address this issue instead of having your users go through different methods to find a solution?

Same problem. Pretty closet to buying Galaxy S4...

I backed up my phone, restored it and also downloaded the latest itunes update which it seems I did not have - possibly the cause? Anyway, all works well again.

I updated my iOS today as well as iTunes, and it still won't sync to my iPhone 5. Tried several times.

I turned off "Sync only checked songs and videos" and selected "Manually manage music and videos" and it seems to work fine now. That might work for some of you too. If this has already been suggested, sorry. I haven't read EVERYTHING on this post.
