So recently after updating to the new iOs7 , when i plugged in my ipod touch 5th gen , i proceeded to sync songs from my itunes library to my ipod but just as it copies the songs onto my ipod , its suddenly cancels sync and a few of my songs are not added onto my ipod. Any idea why this happens or what i can do to possibly fix this problem ?

This seems to be a good temp solution. It worked for me. Not sure what's up but I keep having more problems than ever with iTunes and so does everyone else.
I've done his twice and it's still doing this...I'm getting really annoyed. You had ths issue back in December and its April and I'm still having these issues.
The answer is to uncheck "Sync Music", then sync it. After it is comleted recheck "Sync Music" then sync it and it should sync ALL of your music you have selected in one go.

Had this same issue, both over USB and WiFi, solved it by creating a new iTunes library and syncing again!
I tried everything on the this thread but nothing work until I unchecked "Convert higher bitrate songs ..." Now sync works fine

Sorry to bring up an old topic but I had the same issue of iTunes canceling the sync so I restarted my Mac and then iTunes was able to sync without issues.

Export library then rename the exported version?
or just copy by selecting all the file in the library then pasting to a new folder as a backup?
Crunch your songs from 256kb to 128kbytes. You will have double space then.
