My gmail blocked my new page file...Help!!!

Update from this morning from Google after they asked me to test the new Mail update and attachments;

The Mail update from Apple has not resolved the issue so will keep posting here as I get updates from Google, but at least they see it as an issue they need to resolve.

Please keep me updated then. I also suggest you get in touch again with Apple Support to get to the bottom of this issue. The reason being is that I can't keep the case open for a long time, specially when it is not an issue on our end. You agree with me, don't you?

Google is not looking into the issue. I suggest we escalate with apple.

I don't see any harm in escalating with Apple as well. I have just sent feedback to them again.

Hopefully one way or the other this will get resolved soon as it really is a pain at the moment.

IWORKS 09 pages, keynote, numbers does not send in MAIL (mac) because of "This message was blocked because its content presents a potentialsecurity issue"

its a problem not only on GMAIL but also Live, Hotmail, Yahoo, and other services...

The problem is that gmail and others haved yet accepted the latest iworks 09 files. its a problem that apple can ask then to fix but its up to the gmail and others to fix it.

Solution!!!:

1 - Send it by exporting to office files

2 - Saving the files as old iwork documents

3 - Command P and save as PDF

4 - Save in icloud and send the URL

So you can still send them 🙂 but have to take a bit more of your time 😟

OK, it's December already and the issue is still here. I just tried to send pages files and got the rejection both by send server and receivers address (after sending via iCloud mail). This is starting to be pretty annoying since i didn't upgrade my iWork just to keep reverting the files to old versions

I'm able to attach Pages 5.1 files to GMail messages via Mac Mail and they are now processed normally. I'm running Mavericks 10.9.2. I'll be interested to know if others are able to send now.
