QTKitServer Safari Web Content
MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9)
I elimated the appearance of QTKitServer in Activity Monitor by disabling the extension ClickToFlash. I disabled it a week ago and haven't seen any occurences of QTKitServer in Activity Monitor since.
I'm now using the Safari Privacy feature that allows one to mangage website settings to block adobe Flash Player. (Preferences -> Security -> Manage Website Settings...) Here's a description of how to use this feature:

According to the article, this feature is new to Mavericks Safari version 7.
If clean install didn't help ,the best way is not pay attention on this bug...
>> I wonder if people with a clean install have the same bug?
Yes, although it doesn't seem to cause any noticeable problem here.
Yes, I tried to did clean install and I had this problem. When I saw this bug, I did restore from backup on Mavericks over 10.8.5

My wife has a macbook air (OS Mavericks), and she don't have this problem... I don't know why.....
It could be a Macbook Pro only issue...
No it's not. I get it on my Mac mini.
that is not a fix. some of us can not simply ignore the issue. it is there and we pay top dollar for apple to be number one.

Any update on this?
No, just wait.

These QTKitServer issues also affects other applications such as Chrome and imovie
Question: if a process such as, QTKitServer is not responding, does that mean that the computer continues to try to activiate that process until it is terminated by the user?
I reported this bug to Apple https://bugreport.apple.com
Bug report #15546922
I have both plugins you mentioned, but continue to run without hangs. Fingers crossed.
Cool. I hope it works for you. I haven't had any QTKitServer hangups yet myself. I still have those Internet plug-ins for Safari 7 in a folder on my Mavericks desktop. 🙂
