Then something is wrong with your phone. Start by restoring if from a back up and testing. If that doesn't resolve the issue, restore from new and test. If neither of those work, make an appointment at the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store to have the phone evaluated.

I think you are wrong. imessage SMS and phone calls : none of those either make a ring nor vibrate nor notify me, ever.

The only workaround i found is to activate emergency bypass on several contacts. I'm investigating this issue with apple, so far no luck.

No, he's not wrong. Either DND is on or there's something wrong with your phone. What you're describing is not normal behavior.

I have DND enabled on a schedule. I have it set to silence Always. When DND is not turned on, I get all my notifications exactly as expected, complete with sound.

Hey ! I hope this helps you because it helped me ! So I was getting soooo frustrated because I’d receive calls and put a whole bunch of alarms ! None that I could ever hear ! I saw a comment on here and went ahead and did it and it worked so go to settings then click sounds and haptics and turn off vibrate on silent and vibrate on ring ! It worked right after I turned that off ! Hope it helps :)

Read this whole thread. There is most definitely a bug. I had the same exact problem. Turned Bluetooth off, and even though it wasn't connected to anything in the first place, my phone started ringing again when locked...

Maybe this was true 4 years ago but not true now. I have IOS 11.0 and when my phone is locked, calls go automatically to voice mail. Very annoying!

No. The crescent moon icon is only displayed between 10PM and 6AM. This problem is outside those parameters.

Turned Scheduled Do Not Disturb back on and didn’t get a notification on the iPhone this time. Weird. Think I’ll just leave the Scheduled feature off and not grieve over it.
