Ipad air low memory crash

I came to this forum to see if other ipad air owners are experiencing same problem with low memory crashing as I do but seems like I'm one of the few people have this. So far I have 10 low memory crash reports. I also have about 30 more crash reports but it's from various apps. I got my ipad air on the launch day, second in line, here in California. Maybe I just have a defective one, I don't know. If you have same issues, please reply so I can determine if I should return it or just live with it. Closing apps every day is a hassle. I wish Apple just put in extra gig of ram. Overall, I am extremely happy with my ipad. There are so many good this things to mention about this ipad but this is wrong thread to do that.

My new iPad Air has quit Safari twice now due to low memory, both times when browsing Facebook. I wasn't doing much in the background.

If the most popular tablet can't browse one of the most popular websites without crashing, and it's brand new, that's pretty crap. I guess it will only get worse, like it did for the original iPad? Surely Apple knew that 1GB is not enough - they must have millions of low-memory crash reports sent by their diagnostic upload.

I'm thinking about returning mine.

I have returned mine and now continuing using my old iPad2

Fortunately Apple facilitate the returning process without any problem, that's something not all manufactures can say.

I've had 3 applications crashing the system but working ok on ipad2. Developers are confirming that something happens with the new processor and memory management on OS7

I'm really disappointed with the new iPad Air, It's far of being a breakthrough , I would like to have a better device, iPad Air is not the answer, Apple is losing his position. I've started thinking if continuing waiting Apple advances or change to a more competitive device, hard decision, inevitable good bye to my favorite apps ?

Mine are constant. Plist a of about 30. Must have 5 or so crashes a day if not more. This a.m. 3 already. I close every app now, turn off preload first choice for Safari, reset etc etc. apples needs an is update. Also turned off background loading. I think it has to do with graphics. I use graphics apps a lot. Also Facebook when scrolling.

Essentially I have turned off all the speed and operative functions of this new machine. Needs an update!

This is not just iPad Air. Happens on my Air and sisters 4th generation. Mostly I've seen it in Safari, even on Apple.com. I've done everything AppleCare said except restore to a new device. Going to Genius Bar today or tomorrow.

I have the numerous Low Memory things on the Diagnostics and Data page. Since these are sent to Apple, Apple has to know iPads are crashing.
