Ipad air low memory crash

Have the same problem as described in the tread. It occurred after upgrade to IO 7. Safari crash very often on Ipad 4 generation and Ipad air.

Waiting for a new IOS 7 update...

Got the IOS 7.0.4 update today, but I still have the same problem with Safari crashing from time to time. Look like it happen when it's a movie clip in the site...

I also have 7.04. Not sure if it will help with our problem. I haven't yet seen the details of what Apple refers to as "bug fixes".

iOS 7.0.4 has not worked for me....same issue with low memory crashes.

I took my iPad Air to the Genius Bar because it was crashing and restarting frequently and usually reporting low memory at the same time. They retored a fresh copy of the OS and told me to set it up as a new device, rather than from backup. This was about three days ago, and I haven't had anymore crashes since then.

A day after I went to the Genius Bar, iOS 7.04 came out, so I can't be certain whether starting fresh or/and the OS update were what worked for me. The recent reports in this thread indicate that the iOS update alone isn't the cure.

I still get fairly frequent low memory reports in Usage and Diagnostics, but they aren't associated with crashes anymore.

(With my luck, my iPad will resume crashing as soon as I post this. 😉 )

I would consider restoring "as new" if I was sure that it would make a low memory error difference. I have too many apps and groups to regroup them all over again. I believe that would be required if I restored it that way.

I took my iPad 4 to the Apple Store and restored it a new device right there. New firmware and all. It crashed in front of them. They ordered a new one and it came in a few days later. As soon as I set it up (as a new device) it crashed. I told them keep the case open, and returned my iPad Air.

Anyone had iPad mini crashes?

My Mini is crashing since updating to 7.04

iTunes Store on my new iPad Air 16GB WiFi only allways crash. I am using iOS 7.0.4

Sorry but what is a low memory crash? I looked on setting and I am had a few. I have the air 64 gig wifi/cellular.

Sometimes the iPad will "freeze up"', or an app or Safari page will reuse to load, or close by itself. This is often due to low memory. Previously run apps, or apps running in the background, may not have released memory properly. Hopefully there will be a fix for this soon.

I can actually make my ipad crash on demand. I was going to go to a Apple store and test their ipad air's in store and see if I could do it but maybe you guys can give me an idea if it crashes your ipad.

1. Open up safari.

2. Go to google and type in any celebrity twitter page. I did "kobe bryant twitter".

3. Go to the twitter page and scroll down to load more content.

4. Tap the "tap to load more tweets". Do this about 3 times until there are a lot of tweets on that page.

5. after you do this 3-4 times you should be all the way at the bottom of the page. Quickly scroll back up to the of the page, and during this time, your safari should crash. Happens everytime.

I then check my Diagnostic and Usage and there is a low memory log instantly in there.

I have also been able to crash when reading my Twitter account on Safari (not on the Twitter app).

1) Open twitter account in Safari (make sure you have some tweets because you will be scrolling through them)

2) Click on "tweets" to list your tweets.

3) Scroll down the list of tweets until you reach the end several times

it happened to me about 10 times in a week ( iPad Air ) and only in safari when i was using demanding website. clearly ipads is screaming for 2GB of ram . i hope they upgrade it for iPad next year .
