Can't logout of google gmail now

something changed overnight and one I can't sign out of google gmail. Any ideas?

None of this is working for me. I have tried the full screen, the YouTube sign out, the terminal killall and nothing. Any ideas?


I am on an iMac with OSX 10.9.2.

I am not logged in to gmail according to YouTube and gmail but I cannot change the user name to a different one.

I do NOT want to add this other account - I just need to access it on this computer.

While gmail is opening on mac, you would see 2 options on bottom right

1. View using standard view (probably the setting is already there for you and that is why you are facing this issue)

2. Load using Basic HTML ( for slower connections)


Click on option 2 , though I agree you may not be having the slower connection.

You would see the sign out button on top right once it opens in basic HTML view. You may make this a default view by clicking on yellow coloured information bar on gmail inbox.
