iPad air reboot problem

Are lots of people meet the new iPad air restart problem? I have met it several times since I bought it a week. Any solution can avoid it or should I go to  store to change a new one As this is a really annoying problem.

Just bought my iPad air 128Gb Wifi about 3 weeks ago and it has auto restarted many times sporadically. It could happen with any apps in operation, it happened to me several times while using Safari, Facebook and iBook. The crash is getting on my nerve as the frequency seems to have increased. I hope it is not a hardware problem and from the posts before me, it seems more likely that it is the OS issue. I have the iPad air set up by restoring from my iPad 2, not sure if this is confirmed a factor for instability. Anyway I really want to avoid setting up the iPad air again from fresh and having to go through the painstaking process of renaming all my eBooks and PDF documents (another frustratingly unproductive issue with iTunes that Apple seems indifferent to).

Hope there could be some acknowledgement from Apple what this problem might be (still remembered the bad experience with iBook PDF file opening issue that Apple took almost one year to fix without acknowledging the problem).

I was using a restore that started on an iPad 2, was restored on a 3 and then restored on an Air... I never set it up as a new iPad during those transitions. With the Air I was having major reboot issues. I knew the Apple store would recommend me setting it up as a new iPad before they gave me a new one so I begrudgingly tried it - - - and the issue went away for the most part. It was happening 2-3 times a day and now it's only happened twice in a couple of weeks and that was when I was trying to do a million things all at once and using gestures. I'd say there is some legacy setting or software in there that clears when you set it up new... from now on I think when I move to a new generation I'm going to set up new.

I wouldn't be surprised if it had something to do with the transition to the 64 bit architecture.

Have just spent a good deal of time on the following with my iPad Air...

Reset & restore of ios7.0.4

Manually loading all my apps

All was going fine (and I mean stable, really stable) until I went to the Facebook section in "Settings", whereupon I entered my details, and enabled the calendar, contacts etc...

Then, within 10 mins everything went pear-shaped... Multiple reboots, and it got to the stage where I would reboot, then slide to unlock... Freeze, then reboot again...

Just did a restore from my backup this morning (prior to enabling the Facebook settings), restore of apps... So far so good... Will monitor and advise...

Cheers

My first iPad Air I got for Christmas before I got it swopped at the genius at the Apple shop on the 3rd Jan, I noticed it do a quick reboot (re-spring) twice. They replaced my iPad Air because my original had screen issues. My replacement has only done a quick reboot 3 times since, so it's not as often as some people. I restored both iPads from my iPad 2 back up. I am reluctant to do a restore as new and lose everything to only find out it's iOS 7. Strange how come that both my iPad air's have resprung, I'm confident it is software rather than hardware.

However the other day iPhone 5 resprung for the first time ever since iOS 7 was installed on release day. I doubt very much that both iPads and my iPhone 5 are all experiencing the same hardware issue.
