iOS 7.0.4 update screws up cellular connection

Since updating to iOS 7.0.4 I have not been able to get a connection higher than EDGE (2G). Now it also seems to be having issues find service at all.

Sitting here with No Service currently.
What the **** did Apple do with the new update?.

iPhone 5, iOS 7.0.3, Actually on 7.0.4

settings - gneral - reset - reset network settings.


if that fails contact your phone carrier cellular data is a carrier feature, not an iphone or apple feature.

I have the same issues with AT&T after upgrading to 7.0.4.


Either I have No Service, or I have some number of bars without 4G, or some number of bars with 4G.

Even though with the latter, data service is intermittent. Running Xtreme Speedtest, the test runs (sometimes delayed due tio the latency check) but then fails during Upload. Loading a page in Safari also only intermittently works, otherwise just hangs and eventually times out.


Of two attempted calls, one failed.


AT&S says there's no known outage in SF Bay Area, but they opened a case.


Instinctively, I would think this is directly related to the 7.0.4 upgrade, but can't say for sure.

I live in Jerusalem, operator Hot Mobile, and have the same issue, it's absolutely not an operator's issue.

Why I think so, because this connection problem did not occur untill I updated to version 7.0.4, I even got for the first time message from Viber that I am not connected, never happened before.

I get the same issue that it says Searching, and then No service, and after few minutes it connects to my operator, but still sometimes it's misleading since it is not really connected even though it says so, people try to call me and they go directly to my answering machine...


Apple please seriously review this issue please!!!!!
