Mavericks Bug Macbook Pro Menu bar goes black

I am having a bug happening with my new macbook Pro i7. The Finder's Top menu bar turns black when opening the computer from sleep.placing the cursor over a menu item causes the item to appear but again turns black once the cursor is moved. Anyone having the same issue? here is a screen shot:

This happened to my MacBook Pro 15" Retina 2013 when I disconnected an external display and then closed my MacBook very quickly to put it to sleep (I was in a hurry).

I figured it was a display issue so I went to System Preferences > Display and changed the Resolution from "Best for display" to Scaled, played around with some settings and then back to "Best for display" and it worked. Anything that would force OS X to refresh/redraw the screen might also work, such as plugging in and out an external display.

I had the same thing happen a few minutes ago, I switched from one non-Apple wallpaper to another and it fixed it (I switched back to my original wallpaper half a second later)

I had just woken the machine up from sleep, 51% battery, no idea if it was using integrated or discrete video at the time.
