My wifi is no longer working. Problem occured a few weeks after OIS 7 upgrade. Current version is 7.0.4
The wifi is greyed-out in the settings and if I use the new IOS 7 shortcut my phone freezes completely and needs rebooting.
Prior to upgrade I have never had wifi problems.
I have tried to reboot, to restore, shut down and wait... etc.... no change
Downgrading to IOS6 would be great if possible

First one to reply to my own question; problem returned 1 day later after watching a video (and thus probably raising the temprature of the phone a bit).
Had to use the blow dryer again and wifi is back again but I don't want this thing anymore. Clearly a hardware fault which Apple refuses to acknowledge (they did it before).

Thanks SO MUCH! This solved my problem too! I followed the directions, then did a hard reboot and WIFI was working as soon as it came back on!
