App updates are not showing up in iTunes

This problem seems to be serious 😕

I have exactly the same problem (Canada). Itunes running on Windows 7 ... it shows no updates for any apps available even when I hit "Check for Updates". My Iphone, Ipad, kids Ipods all show multiple apps waiting for an update (and they are ... I can verify that the apps on the devices are out of date - Minecraft is just one example).

In addition, this problem has existed for the new Apple apps Keynote, Pages, Numbers ... for weeks. I am not sure any of these ever showed up as needing updates in Itunes even though my phone indicated that updates were available. Now the issue seems to have been extended to all apps.

I experienced the same problem in Malaysia. It all started yesterday while I was trying to updates my apps.

When I click the "Check for Updates" button, initially it showed I had 15 updates. I didn't update them because iTunes froze when I tried to plug in my iPhone. I forced quit iTunes, and when I restarted it and checked for updates again, there weren't anymore updates, eventhough my idevices clearly showed there were updates. Going into the app profiles pages on iTunes clearly showed the "Update" button.

It has been more than 28 hours and counting now and the issue has remained unresolved. I had to manually update the apps singly.

I logged in with my two accounts (UK and Greek one) and nothing..

What kind of bug is this?

I am in the United States. I am using the most recent version of itunes. All my apple devices show that I have updates, however itunes will not show the update no matter how many times I click the update button. I am able to update my apps on my iPhone and iPad and then I have to sync back to itunes in order to update my itunes library. I have had this problem for a couple of days. When connecting apple directly by phone, they transferred me 4 times and no one could figure out the problem. Perhaps it is a server problem on their end or a big. Nevertheless, I received no help with my problem.

Same problem here in USA. Looks like it has to be some kind of server problem. If I go to any of the individual apps in the App Store which were updated on my iPhone the button changes to Update and I can individually download the update to iTunes. Must be some kind of problem comparing libraries. Hope they fix it soon.

I am in France. I have an iMac, a MacBook Pro, an iPhone and an iPad and the problem is the same. 28 updates on the iPad and 20 updates on the iPhone but no updates possible by iTunes. I can only update directly by the iPhone or the iPad...

Hello, I am in Angola and my iMac is connected to the France "iTunes Store" - same problem 😟

All my iDevices indicate growing numbers of iApps updates to be downloaded, but now way to see anything from within iTunes 11.1.3 ?

Let's hope that Apple engineers will fix the issue ASAP on their servers…

I have the same proble here in Switzerland !

But I noticed that if I go on the list of my applications in iTunes and that I ask on one of that whose my iPhone claims an update, with going on iTunes Store, then there one proposes to me to update it. There, that functions!

Same problem on iTunes 11.1.3 for a Malaysian account. Everything is normal for my iPhone and iPad. I'm running latest build of Mavericks.

Same problem in Hong Kong since Dec. 13, 2013. It seems like a worldwide problem:-(

Same problem here. Mac OS 10.8.5 iTunes 11.1.3. Noticed it about 2 days ago. I have updated my iPhone apps directly on the iPhone instead.

I've had the same problem here in the US of A. Tried lotsa stuff but still no go.
