App updates are not showing up in iTunes

I have a notification of 14 apps for updating on my iPad and 15 apps on my iPhone. Yet, nothing is appearing in iTunes on my MacBook Pro / OS 10.9. No matter how often I click "Check for Updates", I am told that there are no updates available for my library. When I check the version numbers of the apps in my iTunes that appear on my iPad & iPhone, they are a version below what is available.

This has only started happening in the last couple of days.

iTunes-OTHER, OS X Mavericks (10.9)

I have one ID in one country and my husband also has one ID in one country. We both use the same itunes and everything was fine unitl a few days ago. It's not possible to delete all the apps and only have one ID per computer as the phones and ipad can only be synched to one itunes at a time and we only have the one computer.

If Apple pulled their fingers out then maybe we would all be happy.

I got the same problem and there's nothing to do Apple ID. All this problem happened since Dec. 13 (Hong Kong time). I only have one apple ID since day one. My iPad 2, iPhone 5 and iPad Air all show update available but not on itunes on my MBP.

My wife got the same problem while she has her own apple ID and her own MBP. We never mixed our Apple ID, purchases or MBP. All friends of mine got the same problem. It all happened since Dec. 13 (Hong Kong time). I read other threads that claimed the problem happened since Dec. 12 (US time).

The solution given by Mra7nkseems like a good idea, i took a look and sure enough my oldest apps are from the same apple id but with an old and since replaced email address. perhaps something as simple as changing your logon email counts as a new ID in the terms of this problem. i havent deleted anything yet as im hoping Apple will get a wriggle on and fix it.

I got it working again. I found 2 app my daughter had downloaded with her account. I right clicked on first app in my library and selected "get info." Look what apple ID was used. Then hit next at the bottom and repeat till you have gone through all apps. Took me a couple hours. I agree it is something that needs to be fixed for people that share computers.

Add Mexico to the list. When forcing a check for updates: "There are not updates available for any of your apps in your iTunes library".

iPad and iPhone getting updates without issues, but none in iTunes on Mac. When connnecting iDevices, got the message "there are apps in your iDevice which are not in your iTunes library".

The apps are simply not updating on iTunes.

Same thing in the Brazilian iTunes Store, OS X 10.7.5, iTunes 11.1.3 (latest), although I must say the problem started (at least for me) around December 10. All my apps are purchased from my one Apple ID. iPhone 4S and iPad 2 both updating fine.

I managed to update manually, visiting each app page, but this is a far cry from a viable solution (or even a reasonable workaround)!
