How do i Undo 'silence calls when phone locked'

If DND is turned off, the other settings under DND for when the phone should be silent have no effect on the phone's behavior.

Check to see that the mute switch (the little slider above the volume buttons) is not engaged. Check the volume level.

I Too have problems. Dnd is off, not in silence or flight mode, updated it yet can't hear ring while it's locked? Now what to do?

There is such a thing because mine is doing this same thing on my iPhone 7 plus. The dnd is off but the "silence only when phone is locked" is checked and I get no alerts, ringtones, or even my alarm clock to sound when the phone is locked. There is no moon on my screen. I can't figure it out.

If DND is turned off, it doesn't matter if that feature is checked or not. That feature only matters when DND is enabled.

Check to make sure that you haven't accidentally enabled the mute switch on the side of the phone just over the volume buttons.

I also have this issue with my 6s, all my contacts frustrated as I am not able to reach, I thought its service provider problem but even after changing service provider this issue still continuing, reset all settings just now, now the repeated calls button checked ON by default, seems this is the workaround, as I could test it by locking and after few min tried with other phone, the first call dropped but the autorecall could connect, saw one missed call notification still as the autorecall on other phone was set without time delay it dialled back. I see so many coming up with the problem faced by them on this matter, hope Apple support will come up with some solutions

If you think you have a defect in your phone, either hardware or software, you should let Apple know.

Omg this was driving me nuts .. once I took a closer look at the button above the ringer that was it!! I had it switched down once I switched it up Vespa!! Thank You!!

Well, that's debatable. It is, indeed, a word of French origin. However, as about 80% of words in English are borrowed and "voila" is found in the Merriam-Webster dictionary and the Scrabble dictionary, I'm going to make the case that it's now an English word. 😉

The little mute button was my problem. It took 2 days out of my life to figure this out.....thank you for this post!

I'm having he same problem. My iPhone 6 Plus won't ring when screen is locked. What did u do to fix yours?
