Is there an app that makes it possible to write and send a text via the iPhone, from a computer? Have seen a few that seems to have the option to write it and send it to the iPhone, but then you have to send it on the phone anyway... Oh, and I'm using Windows 7 (64).

Specifically, you cannot send messages from your phone using your PC. It's not possible.

That's impossible. They're either from your phone OR your PC.
but you can get close like notes ( which basically is a text its just a difrent name)

No, you cannot. You will need to explore alternate texting services that offer both an iPhone app and a way of access the service on a PC.

Alright, but what I basically want is a program to send texts from my phone, over WiFi, BlueTooth, iCloud or anything, just that I type them in some app or program on a computer.
I'm willing to bet andriod phones can do that by now....

well if you want text specifcally then no theres not but with notes it will be on your iphone and the computer
But there are programs already that lets you type a text and send it to the iPhone, with a number ready and all, and you only have to press a send button on the phone. How could it be that friggin hard to have an opensource-type program to over-ride that last bit, and just send it?

Didn't mean that, sorry, but yea...the hackers can open up stuff that would be awesome if we had in the first place. But I don't wanna go there just yet....just a **** shame we buy items worth hundreds of dollars, and still have no say in what to do with the software in them....
I still love my (now) old iPhone 4, but I want some flexibility....
well i still recomend using the icloud because you can put stuff up and take stuff down and it will be there untill you delete it so you wont have to worry about losing it
