msvcr80.dll

Downloaded new iTunes version and got a "msvcr80.dll is missing". Reloading, re-installing, nothing helps. Can someone help me with very, very simple instructions? Otherwise I need to wait for the next update on iTunes. Previous version worked just fine.

Thank you I followed your suggestions, including the related article for Windows 7. Bonjour no longer shows up in my list of programs in the Control Panel, but in Windows Explorer there is a Bonjour file folder with two files in it. I've tried deleting the folder and each of hte two files individually. I get the message that the file is open in another folder (no indication what folder) and am not allowed to delete. Do you have any suggestions on a way around or throiugh this? Again, thank you.

Process? Run services.msc from the start button and stop the Bonjour service if you can there. Or try removing it in safe mode. If you have any Airprint software uninstall that. Try again.

I am at my wits end. I have uninstalled, reinstalled latest version; deleted all Apple stuff and installed 11.1.3 earlier version but get messages of missing .dlls. This has wasted my whole day trying to get iTunes back up and running but with no success. I am so annoyed at Apple for releasing a duff iTunes update. I cant image how many wasted hours there has been around the world.

I have followed so many suggestions but nothing seems to work.

Hopefully some bright spark at Apple reads these frustrated messages and advises all users how to fix the problem they created

I can well understand your frustration. I am running Windows 7 and followed the advice exactly of 'otacon72' and (I am happy to say) this worked and I eventaully got the new version installed OK. (Had to have three goes at uninstalling the original 'Apple Mobile Device' field before finally managing to do so, though!)

I dread to think how many Apple users who know nothing of this Forum are boiling with rage! I would imagine some very serious questions are going to be asked among rhe Apple techies in the next few days!

Good Luck!
