Thanks everyone. Worked for me. I had to uninstall the iCloud Control Panel and clear out the Apple Folders in Common Files.

youre fix for error 6034 worked for me also just now. Thanks for the concise solution. I did also have to learn how to log in as administrator in my windows vista to uninstall.

Many thanks - this also worked for me although I could not uninstall the Apple Mobile Device Support either. Pity that Apple releases updates that don't work.
