Have you followed the additional folder removal steps, such as given in Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates. If not please try again. If you have could I please have the precise error messages that you get now when you try to start iTunes?

AdCore.dll is a component of iTunes, it would normally be replaced by repairing or reinstalling iTunes.
Have you followed the additional folder removal steps, such as given in Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates? If not please try again. The key information is in the two boxes, but the first is unlikely to apply.

It shouldn't matter too much, particularly if you are going to delete the suggested folders as well. The recommended order should reduce the risk of additional error messages and confirmation dialogs on the way. Try working through the second box in Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.

This fix worked for me too. Thanks. But a quick question - was my itunes playlists restored because it is stored in a completely different location?
Anne
The iTunes library and playlists should always survive an unpgrade or the complete removal of all components and reinstalling. In the unlikely event of problems see Empty/corrupt iTunes library after upgrade/crash.

Thanks, please see b noir's post Standalone Apple Application Support install for a download link and additional advice to mine.
Could you download and install WinRAR if you don't already have it, then use it to unpack the components of the iTunesSetup64.exe file. I suggest extracting to the root of the C:\drive so it will be easy to locate them later if we want to try to generate log files. The components should be installed in alphabetical order with the exception of SetupAdmin and iCloud64. (I haven't had a chance to check but in the 32bit installer the iCloud component is for Vista only).
Please note down any error messages as they occur.

I Have tried everything and I have no access to iTunes for my iPhone and iPad.
I need help!
Hi Brett, have you followed the instructions in the second box in Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates, paying particular attention to the folder deletions?

You said that you needed to reimport your media which is a shame. One of the links in the further information area of Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates deals with any potential post-recovery library corruption. There is also a link in there for a backup tool that you might find useful in future.

If you've been through the second box in Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates and it still won't reinstall cleanly then download and install 7-Zip (free), or a free trial of WinRAR, and use one of them to extract the contents of the iTunesSetup.exe or iTunesSetup64.exe installer file, then try installing AppleApplicationSupport.msi as a standalone component. Even if it won't install you may get a more useful error message as to why not.

Thank you so very much for this info. I really appreciate the help.
I don't mean to sound stupid, but am not computer-savey. How can I do the following as listed in the instructions if my computer won't ever load windows? I'm not sure how to get to the C drive if I just keep getting the blue screen of death and the grey screen saying it can't start windows:
Check for .dll files
Thanks so very very much!
This error mainly occurs when using of “C runtime Library” without using manifest file. if C runtime library does not support the application it send error message to the user.
when you load a application that need to run the supported files if it not exist in the System driver at that time this error appears. due to some System issues it lost the supported file which is needed to run the application.
To fix this error you have to insatll a good Registry clearner Tool that will help to you to detect corrupt system files or missing files of your system. and it is also necessary to install a strong antivirus software which will keep protect of your System from severe damage.
Manual way to fix run time error of r6034-
To see more result click on runtime error r6034.
Press the Windows Logo Key and R at the same time. Type in services.msc and press enter. Locate the service and try to halt it. It seems from elsewhere that if you can't get it to uninstall then just press on with the other components and it all comes out OK in the end.

Great info! Was having the same issue as original poster (also mobile device support not uninstalling) I followed the steps you suggested and everything worked. Thanks for being so helpful so quickly!
I've been having the same problem. I tried to uninstall iTunes in this way, but it still comes up with the Runtime error when I attempt it.
EDIT: ...and now iTunes is gone like it's been uninstalled. Okay, then; never mind.

I'm having this same issue, only when I try to unistall itunes, I get the same runtime error and the uninstall process stops. I'm running Windows 7 and I've rebooted several times, but nothing works. VERY frustrated right now! :/
Just a note, but using the Uninstall button didn't work, when I tried to remove Apple Mobile Support service. However, clicking the Change button, and then choosing Remove, did work. Once I got it removed, I was able to reinstall iTunes and got it working again.
Thanks for the help.
