iTunes Match Genius Mixes won't work on iOS devices anymore

Spent another hour on the phone with an Apple 'Senior Adviser' last night. She tried everything she could think of bless her, but couldn't solve the problem. She has escalated it to their 'engineering' department and I've been promised a call-back on Friday morning.

I phoned the support iTunes https://getsupport.apple.com/Issues.action during the explanation of the problem, the consultant has unexpectedly terminated the call.....

after 24 hours has not called any more ... I am amazed and disappointed :(

same here. did everything. Even erased my ipad and loaded it up again, turned of genius and match on my macbook and turned them back on, etc. Neither my iPad or AppleTV can do genius mixes.

AppleTV says there are no genius mixes in my itunes library, but genius mixes are there and do work fine on my macbook pro. Just not on my ipad or appletv (I don't use match on my iphone).

Same problem in Mexico

A quick google search shows that this has been an issue on and off with itunes match for several years.....

Just had a call from Apple. Suggested I click on one of the Genius Mix play buttons then give the iPhone (or iPad) Home Key two quick presses, then close the music app by sliding it up. Then open the music app again (it took a couple of attempts for it to open). This has apparantly fixed the problem for some users, but it hasn't for me 😠. Don't see how it's supposed to fix them in the AppleTV though...

The adviser is going to seek more advice and call me back.....

That sure as **** doesn't fix it for me. I've done that countless times. And as you says that won't apply to appletv. This problem is a real bummer.

This is also something that I have also tried several times and it didn't fix the issue. Apple doesn't know what the problem is - I was told to keep an eye out for software updates and that's about it! Hopefully iTunes Radio will be rolled out to the UK soon and I won't have to bother with Genius Mixes!

Just had another call from Apple who have finally admitted it is a 'known issue' and that they are working on a fix for the next software update. In the meantime, I'm using this: http://www.groovemusicapp.com/

That's great news that they've acknowledged it. Sigh, now we wait for 7.1 I guess...

I Think it's not only an iOS 7 problem, because i got the same one even on my iPhone 3GS with iOS 6.1.6 and my Apple TV with 6.0.2...by the way, we'll wait

I'm in the Netherlands having the same problem Apple please acknowlegde the problem don't let us pay for something that does not fully work as you say is should

I have the same problem on my iphone but not my macbook. Hello, Apple? Are you aware? It would be nice if Apple would acknowldge problems as they happen rather than have their customers frustrated and finding out after hours or days that this is a global apple issue and not individual. The good thing is these forums.
