iTunes Match Genius Mixes won't work on iOS devices anymore

Hi,

I had the iTunes Match Genius Mixes running on my Apple TV and iPhone without any problems until yesterday. Since then the iPhone still shows the list of mixes, but no cover art of the contained songs nor does anything happen when I press the play button. On the Apple TV it says that I should first enable Genius in my iTunes on my Mac, but that has already happened.

I tried signing out and in again from iTunes Match several times. The iTunes library load everywhere without problem and all songs are availble but no Genius or Genius Mixes. I also tried disabling iTunes Match on my Mac and turned it on again. Same result. All iOS device does not offer Genius or Genius Mixes anymore.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

FYI:

I've spent almost 2 hrs today in 5 separate calls with Apple today, just with the intent to inform them about this thread and the underlying issue, to make sure they are logging and working on this as a known issue - rather than as individual problem reported by individuals at their AppleCare hotline.

I finally - after almost loosing my nerves - reached a supervisor who apparently knows how to pass on issues like these to the iOS Engineering team.

Let's see what happens next. Will keep you posted.

Thank you. I must have spent 4 hrs yesterday trying to get it to work on my iPad and iPhone. It does work on my MacBook. Hope Apple can find a new team on this. Mine is still down on iPad and iPhone. Tried the solution one posted on both. Must have tried a lot of times, from 8 to 10 o'clock. Doesn't work for my equipment. Unfortunately I use this for work. I'm a musician getting ready to play a gig and wanted to study the latest pop music. Oh well.

It is not working on my iPhone 4s, my iPhone 5s and not working on my iPad. It has been and still is working on my two Macbook Pros, my older 17" and newer 15." I have done that resetting thing about 5 times each day now without it working and just turned off iMatch on my 5s and then reloaded it, both iPhones and iPad.

Still no genious mix on my equipment I use for work.

About 6 months ago I had to turn over my iMatch account to iTunes, setting up a new password they had access to, and after two months still had the problem of iMatch causing my iTunes on ALL my apple products to lock up, totaly lock up. Hours and days devoted to calling and eMailing Apple about it. Then they gave up, their Quote engineers, what they called them. They finally gave up and reset my iMatch account. Now it is starting to act the same way on my Macbooks, locking up more and more frequently. I am reluctunt to call them to inform them because my experience has been with this sort of deal with them - they will ask and ask for more examples and time on the phone, copies of the problems and no solution. Just frustration and time lost on my part. I don't have a product I paid for, still.

Please fix this, Apple.

They did do something, but they made it worse!

After my last attempt things changed in the following way:

When turning off and then on again "settings: music: iTunes Match", the device typically says do you want to replace the media on this device with iTunes match library,

it still does today.

When opening the music app after the above the app typically says "loading iTunes match library" and loads it for quite a while.

But since today the music app doesn't care anymore about the iTunes match flag still only shows the local media.

No attempt to load iTunes match library nor showing the existing genius mixes from the iTunes match anymore.

For those of us where it works again: could you please give some details about your region, your device, your iOS version, ...?
