iTunes Match Genius Mixes won't work on iOS devices anymore

All working here too, I did nothing, all of a sudden it works again!

All working here again. Just go to your iTunes library in your computer, update iTunes Match and it should work again.

Good to know that in this post PC world we need access to a PC to fix this

It didn't simply work again for me today, so I tried the following and then it worked:

Mac/iTunes:

- deactivate iTunes Match, then deactivate Genius

- reactivate Genius, then reactivate iTunes Match

iOS Device

- settings/AppStore: deactivate iTunes Match

- settings/Music: deactivate iTunes Match, and deactivate'All Musicdata'

- kill Music App with Task Switcher

- settings/AppStore: reactivate iTunes Match

- settings/Music: reactivate iTunes Match, and reactivate'All Musicdata'

- open Music App

- wait until Music Library is loaded fully

Not I have a Genius Button again with Mixes showing Cover Art and allowing to start playback.

But, strange enough: although living in Germany, where no iTunes Radios is launched yet: I have an iTunes Radio Button - but after pressing the 'Listen Now' button it says 'currently not available...' 😉

All three of mine work now! That is basically what I did. Updated imatch on my MacBook Pro. I didn't need to do any thing else except I opened up iRunes on only one device, 5s, Genious greyed out. I just left it open and walked a way for a while. It worked. So did everything except my iRunes on my MacBook Pro. It locked up. So I left it alone for about an hour and then it was working also. This morning I had iMatch Genious working again.

Everything is working again for me. Turn everything off, update iTunes match, and then turn everything back on. Thank you Apple!

Mine did the same thing right after the most recent update. I have tried everything I can think of and have gotten no where.

Mine is working again. Happy days.

Yes, it's working! I've just done the same:

• updated my iTunes Match on my Mac, then

• updated my Genius mixes on my Mac (all the iOS devices were turned on at this time, but the Music app was not running), and then

• started Music app on my iPad and on my iPhone.

Huh? I don't understand your rant. iTunes Match is specifically for music you ripped yourself onto a PC. Your PC is the source of the matching for non-iTunes purchased content. So yeah, that needs a PC.

I had to do what you did and now it works for me too. Just turning match back on the iOS device didn't fix it for me.

Great, I tried so many workarounds, they all failed. But this one worked. Thanks!

I signed out of everything (apple id) quit programs turned off Music Match and Genius. Signed back in, turned everything back on and all is fine now.
