Match process stalling out at end

I've been using iTunes Match for about a year and a half and have started experiencing a new problem in the last couple of days. I've added a few new tracks to my library over the last couple of days and have attempted to "Update iTunes Match." However, the matching process is stalling out at the end. It looks like it's just about to finish but then it never does. I have downloaded the most up-to-date version of iTunes, I have stopped and restarted the "Update iTunes Match" process numerous times. I have closed and reopened iTunes several times. I have restarted my computer and started over. Etc. Etc. and the same problem keeps occurring. Last night, I let the matching process continue overnight and it still had not finished in the morning. I am at my wit's end at this point. It's only 11 new songs that I'm trying to get iTunes to Match. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to resolve this problem? Thanks!

Bestlightimages, I don't know how much of this thread you have read (it has gotten quite lengthy now) but I tried various versions of iTunes last week on different computers and that made no difference for me. But the issue has evolved for me. It started working properly for me on or around 6/16 after 6 days of not working and recently it has stopped working again but it's no longer hanging on Step 3....now I'm getting 4010 errors much earlier in the process.

Wow iTunes Match has been really crappy lately. In fact, I've been having issues with purchases too. At least with those I was able to get them refunded and reissued.

Now I'm getting 4010 errors, and a new library doesn't help. (I don't even get my purchases).

Has anyone figured out how to get support for iTunes Match yet? I figured it's a paid service, so it should come with support, but the website wants me to pay extra because my iPhone is out of warranty. (?)

There are a number of people that have reported speaking to apple techs on the phone but I'm not sure what process they have gone through to do that and if they were charged or not. However, I can't imagine that anyone that is a subscriber to Match would be charged when the service clearly has not been working properly for such a large number of people and for such an extended period of time.

I've been quiet for a day or so, but mine too is still completely broken. I've been promised an update next Wednesday from Apple - so I'll look forwards to that. Now, like the rest of you posting I just get an iTunes error (4010) immediately when I try to update iTunes match.

Regardless of all of this the status page STILL says no issues at all.... lies, lies and more lies. I've refrained from using that word so far - but honestly if you read what it says at the bottom of the page is says :-

There are no reported issues at this time.

Which means either Apple isn't being honest - or all of us here are making it up that we're having problems and have spoken to Apple.

Not good enough, no transparency. Very poor service indeed.

Mine seems to be working still after not working last week - but there is still some weirdness / issues.

I added just one song this morning. Everything appeared to work and the song shows up on my iPhone as being available (versus grayed out). But....the "ICloud Status" column js blank in iTunes and if I attempt to perform a GET INFO on the song it tells me it has not been processed by iTunes Match yet.

Huh????

So while I am better off than many of you - I am not 100% back to normal yet it seems.
