Can't copy + paste correctly on iOS 8

none of those tips helped me. I thought that the upgrade to .0.2 had fixed it, but it soon went wrong again

Cut + Paste worked once for me. iPhone 4S iOS 8 User. But it has not worked since. This is frustrating!!!

I have the same issue, and it is not just safari and chrome. I can't get it to work between several apps. Cut and paste does not work either.

I have the same issue. Cut, Copy and Paste do not work (iOS 8.0.2 / iPhone 4S). These are fundamental user actions, guys, come on.

Restarts and resets do not fix the problem.

Here are the examples I've found. In all of these examples an old text block that had been copied was actually the item to be pasted.

• Cut and Copy URL from Safari
• Cut and Copy URL from Safari text box in page (like Tinypic links)
• Cut and Copy text from Notes app

Haven't done any more testing than that as it is extremely frustrating.

Its annoying please we want an answer from Apple, more reasons for change my Apple devices

The release didn't fix my copy and paste problem.

It seems that i can copy and paste in a single running app. If i want to switch between to different apps, things go wrong.
As a matter of fact... i would love the possibility to copy more than just one selection of text (or picture). For a minute i thought Apple managed to do so, but obviously not. And now a solution, please!

I too am having the same issues re copy paste as per previous comments. This has been the worst iOS release that i can recall. It's probably got a lot to do with the 4S i am using, but it is supposed to be supported.

So many issues with this release - including bluetooth, network slowdowns, ...

I Used to be able to watch all videos on Facebook, now I can't.

Youtube always worked flawlessly, now it hickups and doesn't work well.

Autocorrect is worse than ever. Each of these sentences fails to start with uppercase, unless I choose it, then it stay on for the second letter.

EVerything is much slower. i tap on something and nothing happens for so long I think it didn't take, so I tap again and they both work and causes issues.

THe Mail reader has crashed several times. Other apps have crashed that never did.

SAfari freezes solid sometimes.

iBooks doesn't run well with slow responses.

SAfari now auto hides the tabs, and there is no way to stop it. Not only do you have to fiddle to get the tab back, but the tap at the top to scroll up doesn't work when they are hidden!

ALl this, and more, has ruined my iPad experience. Never before have I felt like throwing the thing across the room. What I wouldn't give to go back to version 7!!!!!!!

APple never admits anything is amiss, so grin and bear it.

I Just updated the other day to Os8 and my cut and paste doesn't work, the whole ipad just freezes for no reason, and videos and apps crash all the time now. My IPads about worthless now.

This is a known issue with iOS 8.0.2 - particularly with Safari. Report it to Apple at http://www.apple.com/feedback/.

TThe only trick I learned so far for copying from Safari to Facebook is to tap the square with the arrow (top left) Facebook and send to me only. Then you can go to facebook and share.
