iOS 8 wifi sync not working

Just updated my iPhone 5 to iOS 8 and my iTunes to 11.4. I'm unable to get my phone to connect in iTunes using the WIFI sync now. I've tried unchecking then checking it to see if would get it working again but nothing is getting it to work. Anybody else have this issue?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)

This is absolutely CRAZY! I updated to 8.0 and lost sync capability on both my iphone 5S and ipad with my mac (iTunes 11.4). Updated to IOS 8.0.1 and sync started to work again. I updated to IOS 8.0.2 tonight and I lost sync again! ***!

Did they not test their system thoroughly before launching this new OS?!? They threw common sense out the window in their rush to release their freakshow to the public. Sure, this new phone and along with its new OS is making Apple a lot of money but right now, it is a freakshow.

Anyone who updates their devices in the first month of a new iOS's availability should expect bugs. This has always happened and is the price we pay for being in the front lines — we are the shock troops. Consider following the Apple Developers on Twitter and give your opinion there. It's more public. We are all stuck having to wait for 8.0.3 (at least I hope that's the one to get this bug fixed).

Hi guys,

i have the same issue with my iphone 5 and iphone 5s. All devices have iOS 8.0.2.

I tried many solutions but only one worked.

I tried this one:

- connect the iphone with the cable and launch iTunes

- uncheck the options "sync with this iphone over wifi"

- press the apply button but not sync

- check the options "sync with this iphone over wifi"

- press the apply button but not sync

- unplug the iphone.

Now you can see your iphone.

If you close itunes and re-open, the iphone appear without problems, but i don't know for how long time.

bye

Fabio

p.s.: i'm sorry for my english.

I have the same issue. iTunes won't "see" my iPhone (iOS8.0.2) and iPad...Additionally I noticed that the my new iMac or MacBookPro can't find or connect to my iPad when I use a control surface app for my DAW. it seems that there's either no connection or communcation between the ports.

Restart the devices will only work once...then after a while it won't work anymore.
