iPhone 6 plus camera issue

Hi guys, I just got my iPhone 6 plus and I found out that there seems to be an issue with the camera when taking shots at night... If the camera is pointed in the General direction where there are sources of light (street lamps, fluorescent lamps etc)... There seems to be halo or lens flare artefacts in the darker areas of the photo...I have uploaded some pictures below for reference...Have checked very thoroughly for dust/objects on the lens but there were clearly none... Somehow I think its an issue with the lens itself, hardware issue...

Has anyone contacted Apple and got an answer? I got a call from Apple couple weeks back and told them that the replacement phone I got has the same issue as the one which I returned. I told them to perform a check on the returned unit to see what's wrong and keep me posted. However, no word from them yet. I have been asking around and apparently, I have not seen an iPhone 6 plus without this problem... is it a batch issue? I hope Apple gets back to me on this soon, surely they must have figured out something by now.

I noticed this same issue on my iPhone 6 in the photos taken with strong sunlight or strong artificial light illumination appeared a little green dot on the photos , after some testing I noticed that the problem is in the metallic rim around the camera , if I caught the sunlight on a wall the metallic points ( the apple logo and hoop camera )

reflected light in these regions and the green dots appeared such ...

I found this page because I'm having the same problem. New iphone 6+ purchased in September 2014. Any image with a light source in the picture contains one small (but noticeable!) bright green dot. I was taking photos at an outdoor festival and the number of green dots was insane. I had updated from Iphone 4S and had never had such trouble.

Has anyone found a solution to this problem from apple?

This is totally unacceptable. One of the reasons I upgraded my 4S was the camera. I like to take lots of pictures of friends and family. My wife, who shoots with a Canon 5D Mark iii, was going to get a 6plus and is now seriously reconsidering. She thinks its ridiculous to sell a phone that does this and I agree. After experimenting a bit, I think it may be a reflection coming from the inside of the camera bezel opposite to the direction of the point light source.

I took picture with iPhone 6 and 6+ giving the same little green light dot on my pictures. Either lens is defective or front of camera glass make this reflection. It is light reflection,it is not flare. If it was a flare it should be light line across the picture but this is reflection of light. Think about your Christmas lightning pictures all of them going to have little green light dots people face or on dark objects. Apple should recall for these issues. iPhone 5 has purple flare problem around the bright object but this is not around it,it is mirror the light across picture which is completely defection. This is main reason I bought my iPhone 6 plus. Therefore, I could take nice pictures.I talk with apple support online they refer me to go to apple store. If they start playing words game with me I am going to request the refund.Iphone 6 and 6+ feature list do not say I will going have green light dots on my pictures.
