now my goATT iphone 6 has data and works fine.

Can someone confirm if this solution only apply to Prepaid phone and not post paid (in contract)? I bought a 6+ for my GF where she had been using 5C with her corporate account. As soon as we port to a new SIM card and insert into 6+, the data doesn't work. But it works on her 5C.

Another workaround that helped solve my unlocked T-Mobile iPhone problem on AT&T's prepaid network was this:

Go to Settings/General/Profiles and delete any configuration profiles you won't need.

(Previously I was in Japan and China, and one of the carriers required me to use a configuration profile and that was somehow blocking the phone from using the AT&T data configuration)

Steps I took:

1. Turn off Cellular data
2. Delete unneeded configuration profiles
3. Turn on Cellular data
4. Works.
