iPhone 6 Plus Keeps Crashing PLEASE HELP!

I am a huge Apple fan, so I ask this question wishing and hoping my iPhone 6 Plus would just perform the way I know it should be.

Since restoring from my old iPhone 5S backup onto my 6 Plus 128GB (AT&T) running iOS 8.0, my 6 Plus is laggy (animations are very slow and stutter), freezy (after hitting "done" it often freezes for a good five seconds before registering the click), buggy (the keyboard sometimes doesn't appear at all, the "halos" around the folders on the home screen sometimes appear and sometimes don't, seems totally arbitrary), and crashy (whenever doing certain tasks like fast app switching, trying to change wallpaper, and others, the phone crashes, turns off the radios, then shows the Apple screen before rebooting). The crashing is happening once every five to ten minutes, making the phone VERY FRUSTRATING TO USE.

I have tried manually restarting the phone, HOME + SLEEP reset to the Apple screen, and restoring again...My next step is a factory reset and manual reinstallation of all my apps again, which is making me sick just thinking about it...

All of these things scream SOFTWARE to me, but what do I know...is anyone else experiencing these issues on the 6 Plus? Should I just be waiting for an OS update, or did I just get a lemon phone? As I said, I love Apple, and this is not a post to flame (so please save your "Go buy an Android" for someone who cares). I just want my shiny new phone to work!!! Any help is appreciated.

If what you are stating is correct (and I have no reason to believe it is not), the iPhone 6 will NOT get the new memory.

You can swap out the iPhone 6/6 Plus phones from now until 2016, but the new memory will not show up until the iPhone 6s/6s Plus, of which you will not be able to trade for.

It's just like my iPad Air 128GB, I can trade it from now til forever, as every trade extends the warranty 90 days....but Apple will never trade it towards a new model iPad that does not have the defective memory.

As thus, lots of luck to all current 128GB owners.

I am just tired, I have and big issue with this iphone!! I deeply regret buying this piece of garbage.

EVery little thing on this **** phone works, but the phone app itself. ICANT PLACE ANY CALLS!!

HAve spoken to a care advisor like 8 times no solution until now, I have restored my phone 6 or 7 times, have lost contacts emails notes.

ANd nothing. Have 18 missed calls and can't checked who have called me.

APPLE should not HAVE released this phone if it had so many bugs. We buy phone cause we need to place calls first of all, not because I need to check the weather or get some receipe online.

I always get this white frozen screen, have to reset my phone and just not use my phone function, if I wanted to buy an 700 dollars iPod i would. But i bought a **** phone. When is this **** bug gonna be fixed.

insted fixing my phone resurrect Jobs. He would gets things in line.

Buy CRAPPLE, regreat for life!

Hello everyone, I'll tell you my experience, which is a little different from yours.

I have an iphone 6 plus 64 gb with very few app installed (less than 50) and I found online an app (IOKitBrowser) that allows you to see if you have a memory TLC or MLC. According to the app I would have one that does not cause problems, namely the MLC.

Actually in 20 days of use has happened to me three times a reboot short (3/5 seconds, with the apple on the screen) on these occasions:

1) While downloading various apps simultaneously (the first time that it happened to me, and the first time that I used the phone)

2) While using Safari (no app in background)

3) Changing the mode from standard to zoom (no app in background)

For me, the problem may not be very serious, because it does not affect the daily use of the phone, even if you know that I could have a "potential" problem is not pleasant after spending 1000 Euros.

What I would like to focus, are the following contradictions:

1) I have a 64 gb model that, according to the application IOKitBrowser, mounts a MLC, which should not cause problems.

2) I have a few applications Installed, but I had 3 reboots

3) One reboot happened without app in the background.

One question for you:

I do not understand if the problem of restarts (5 seconds with apple on the screen) is the same as the problem of crashes and blue screens and red, or if they are different problems.

After 2 months of using the iPhone 6+ 128GB without any problems, I started to have the crashing problem last week when I realised nearly every time I entered the password, the iPhone seems to restart itself with Apple Logo and white screen background. It is so annoying because it happens at least 6-7 times a day (and increasing) as if the more memory it uses, the more often it would crash.

My case is a little bit worst because I bought my iPhone 6+ in Australia but I'm living in Thailand and Apple Thailand does not allow for claims from devices bought overseas which really ****** me off. I mean, a worldwide company like Apple doesn't have hardware support for their own faulty products is ridiculous. This is the third iPhone I bought an from Apple Australia and it is the most expensive (by far) and none of the previous ones have problems, until this iPhone 6+. Now, I really regret buying this phone and wish Apple would be at least responsible for servicing their faulty products.

I have a 128 GB 6 Plus. Actually, this is my THIRD 6+. My problems have been 1) awful battery life, 2) apps crashing - I have about 80 apps, 3) ITunes isn't working properly, 4) the Bluetooth won't work properly with my earpiece, car, or Braven wireless speaker. Each 6+ has had the exact same problems. The guy at the Genius Bar ran diagnostics and found the Springboard problem. He said my backup from my IPhone 4 was corrupted. He recommended setting up the third 6+ as a nes device and adding everything to it separately. I followed his advice and set it up as a new device. Added my apps from the App Store. I am still having the same problems. From what I have read here and in articles on this issue, it is a hardware issue, not software. I am so disappointed in Apple and don't have time to keep setting up new machines. If it's not reliable, it's not a good device. Looks like the production problems I read about before the phone was released were true.

I am not sure is it hardware or software issue (iPhone 6 64GB).

In first two months of using my iPhone, it crashed only once, maybe at beginning of October (I bought it on September 24.).

And in last 15 days it crashes every day. Sometimes I can't open apps because it automatically returns me to springboard.
When it crashes/reboots with red/green/blue screen it continues to constantly reboot itself. After I do hard reset, it turns on, but without cellular signal.
After another hard reboot everything works fine. And that happens almost every day.

I don't have official Apple store/service in my country, since I bought it in Canada.
I think it started happening this often when I upgraded to 8.1.1...

I know that a total new reinstall might have worked for you. Unfortunately, for the original issues this thread was started for - issues with the 128GB iPhones - it has not been proven to correct the issue.

As I earlier stated, an iPad Air 128GB was re installed as new multiple times - all files added from scratch from the app store so no chance of getting a bad app from a computer iTunes Backup.

And the same exact issues every time.
