Apple pay can only be used with the iPhone 6 or 6plus, or with the Apple watch in combination with an iPhone 6, 6plus, 5s, 5c, and iPhone 5:

So, no iPhone 4s or 4, and an iPhone 5, 5c, 5s only if you have the Apple Watch paired.

Why don't you spend all that time and energy on something worthwhile? This is what we call a "First World Issue" as in, it is an issue that affects only people who can afford a luxury good like an iPhone in the first place. Why not work on getting computers or tablets into the hands of children who couldn't otherwise afford them? Or working on getting internet to underserved areas? How about volunteering to help the homeless? Set up some community gardens? Teach seniors how to use computers? You'd instead prefer to waste your time on what is essentially a trivial issue? That's so very, very sad. By the time NFC payments become common (or are replaced by something else better), you will have a new phone.

He simply doesn't get it. He's clearly done ZERO research on NFC. He hasn't read how NFC works. He doesn't get that without the NFC chip, his phone will never be able to communicate with merchant terminals which will only work with an NFC Chip. He's sadly delusional. But got to give it to him. He's going to fight his fight. Even though he's already lost.

Oh, I know. 😉 But, sadly, I'm one of those people who can't help pulling on threads.....(puns intended).

And Mercedes put more horsepower in this year's model of the car I drive. I'm sure if I drive on over to my dealer, they'll just add the horsepower to my car's engine. Right? 😉

And Nikon added built in Wifi to the next generation camera of the model I use. I'm now going to demand that Nikon adds Wifi to my camera. Seems fair to me.

Vernz has opened a whole new world of expectation to me and maybe many others. Go Vernz!

LOL

Please worry about your life and issues that surround you. Please do not give me life lessons as it is not required from you tech savvy people.

Yeah me too. And I really should just let the poor fellow believe he's going to make Apple change the "error of their ways!" But then, when someone simply has no clue what's real, it's just so darn tooting easy to play........

Again do not assume that i have no clue. I would unleash on you for what you have just written but this is that the place to express my emotions. Thats trying to make your hero members on this forum to think outside the box and think of the bigger scale.
