Why can't I send or share photos from my iPhone6 photo app? It says "There was a error while preparing to share. Please try again later." It's been 4 days and no luck. Help!

GO to settings, scroll down to iCloud, click on it, scroll down to log out, press log out and wait for it to finish logging out, then log right back in with your iTunes password. It will reset up your pictures, don't be alarmed they will disappear for a few minutes and then re download from the iCloud and that fixes the error.
Dif you turn off the iCloud or log out? It worked when I completely logged out and logged back in.
Reset network settings and log back into wifi and it will work. Bam.
Reload photos by signing out icloud and SignIn again.
This worked for me, go to settings, select camera off and power off, power back on, go to settings select camera on, power off then power back on and bingo, i was able to share all my pictures and videos again, hope it helps someone
I too am having this problem and I have finally been able to get all my photos onto my computer either by getting them off my phone or from ICloud. Then I turned off Photos for ICloud because the ICloud service *****. I just keep my photos on my phone and avoid Icloud like the plague. They should rename it iclown.
I have the same problem however if you "share" or copy, do it by 1-8 pictures at a time. Sometimes when I copy 8 pictures I still get the problem. This seems to just be happening around the Holidays. I copied 600 pictures just the other day now I can barely copy any. Good luck! I hope they fix this. Is this suppose to be a one time share thingy -_- ☻

turn off "optimize photo storage"
(1) Turn off wifi ...........(2) Go to Settings............ (3) Select General............ (4) Scroll to bottom and select reset. (5) Your phone will now turn off and then, after a minute, turn back on...........(6) Turn off wifi. (You will have to add the wifi password again.) It should work. Just talked to Apple help on the phone and this worked for me.

I took another screen shot of the "receipt" picture and it worked!
I have exactly the same in iPad mini 2 with iOS 8.1.2
sharing was ok up to the last set I wanted to share via airdrop. Now I cannot shard anymore via any means. (Not via iCloud, airdrop etc.) I have restarted without any change to the situation. Pls help!

Sort of defeats the purpose of having a camera on this phone when i cant share anything! Its been one crappy software release after another ....FIX THIS ALREADY!!
Still having this issue, no fix in sight. Can't even change my wallpaper because like 80% of my gallery won't even load in apps and settings.
Come on, apple. This has gone long enough. It's simply pathetic that it's taken this long.
Tried iCloud off/on and didn't help unfortunatly.
What I did find out though is, that iPhone screenshots (png), added to the iCloud photo library,
which I then try to a iCloud photo sharing are causing the issue.
iphone screenshot -> autoupload to photo library on ipad -> add to iCloud photo sharing : ERROR
iphone photo/camera -> autoupload to photo library on ipad -> add to iCloud photo sharing : OK
Strange. Anybody any further ideas ?
