Have you got handoff active under Settings/General/Handoff (switch off)

Turn off bluetooth and then back on. I think you will see that this works. Was was noticing a bluetooth problem with Yosemite Beta 3 with invalid bluetooth addresses in continuity (handoff). I think this maybe plaguing bluetooth. Just set up a guy on the road who had the same problem and turning off continuity turning off bluetooth and back on resolved the problem.

Hi all - wanted to add to the chain of frustration. My iphone 6 on ios 8.0.2 also does not connect to the car radio bluetooth. But I've seen a lot of articles pinning this on different car manufactures. Not the case with me. I have an after market car radio installation (Dual is the brand name) so that leads me to believe it is whatever API (or whatever they use) that Apple created that was changed. Obviously the car and radio manufactures were working with a standard supplied to them by Apple and Apple has gone and changed jt. (Stuff like this happens all the time for developers working with Facebook.) Apple needs to undo whatever they did.

Great! Now my iPhone 5s is in an endless BOOTLOOP.....I have only had it for 6 weeks, my first iPhone.......only had problems with it.....am definitely returning it and shall get myself the Samsung Galaxy s5. I've had my Galaxy s2 for many years and never ever a problem, in fact it's still working right now. I begin to have that feeling that Apple is totally overrated....

About a week ago I reported on this forum that I was having issues with my iPhone 6 and getting the Bluetooth to work correctly with my Audi A6. At that time to get it to work right I had to Reset All Settings on the iPhone and that seems to have solved the issue. Now a week later, I am experiencing the same issues. This time I tried to just reset the Network Settings which did not solve the issue. I went back to what I did last week and Reset All Settings after deleting the profiles on my iPhone and in my Audi. That seems to fix the issue but looks like it's a temp fix. This is REALLY annoying!!

Specific issue is: The Bluetooth does connect to the car and I can play music over the car's audio however, calls aren't possible. Incoming calls ring but you cannot answer them on the car's system. You need to answer on the phone and make sure you are using the iPhone setting or Speaker. Nothing can be heard over the car's audio system if you try to answer via the car. Same with outgoing. You can make an outgoing call but no audio comes over the car's system. To hear you have to manually switch to the iPhone or Speaker setting.

So I called Apple Customer care today and opened another case with them. They're first question was, have you contacted Audi. I told them yes and that they said if was a Apple issue. The Apple customer rep then took a few minutes and came back on the line and advised that I needed to restore my iPhone and set it up as a new device. I explained that this was a bit frustrating and not the experience I had come to expect from Apple Products. Unfortunately I don't have much of choice if I want the phone to work in my Audi so I set it up as a new device. Time will tell if this is a permanent fix.

Since upgrading to ios8 on iPhone 4s, I am having a number of bluetooth issues with my motorcycle headset.

1) I can no longer answer an incoming call by pressing the connect button on the headset, however, i can make outgoing calls ok (initiated using Siri).

2) I am unable to terminate a call by pressing the connect/disconnect button.

The headset "connect button" is still working ok for starting/stopping music and other functions - it just seems to be phone call related.

Is anyone else using a motorcycle headset having similar issues? (Mine is a generic Aldi set which I have been using for years)

Reply to bozhed: Don't loose your time and reset your iPhone, it's a bug with IOS8.0.2 and Apple is working on it (8.1 maybe). I hope this fix will comme sooner than later... Apple forget that it's a phone before it's a "smart" phone... Personnaly I downgraded to my 4s and I am waiting for the fix. Bluetooth in my car is not a luxe for me! Steeve we are missing you!

Thanks. Now I have bought for no money a phone with a working bluetooth connection. I have cancelled my order for an iPhone 6 no need for more frustration. The non working phone is iPhone 5 with iOS 8.0.2. and is now accumulating dust. I find incredible that they create the Apple Support Community, invest in the site, make satisfaction surveys (I just got one) and they do not monitor the forums that are the best source of information they can possible have. Well, they are unable to make work a bluetooth connection so what can you really expect. Anyway I heed your advice and fill the proper form. Nothing left but hoping for an early resolutive release of iOS 8.0.3
