IOS 8.0.2 wifi issues

Hi, I have issues with my new iPhone 6 on IOS 8.0.2

Sometimes I lose wifi connectivity and disable / enable the wifi on Settings is not enough... only chance is to reboot the phone.

same phone, same issue.

It only stops working when I try to stream HD videos through Apple's own video playing software. Doesn't seem to stop when I stream using apps that use their own video software. I watched NowTV for over an hour last night on my phone on wifif, but can't watch more that 10 seconds of a video on a different AppleTV compatible app today.

When it stops, I turn off the wifi and even the 3G stops working. Rebooting is the only way to stop the issue, but it happens again as soon as I try watch the same video.

Please update soon, it's incredibly infuriating.

While your comment is unnecessarily crude, it's accurate. Apple provides this forum for users to assist other users. Apple provides the feedback channel at www.apple.com/feedback to provide feedback directly to Apple. It's not that Apple doesn't care. If they didn't, they wouldn't have set up the feedback channel.

It's just that you're basically going to the Post Office to try to renew your Driver License. Both may be government services, but you're in the wrong place.

In other words I was right but crude.

Let me tell you something my friend because things arent always what they seem.

IF a person has a headache and you give him a lollipop, you only present yourself as nice when in fact you are giving no help.

THese forums are lollipops. We dont need apple to have apple related forums. There are dozens.

IF apple really cared, they would do much more with the billions of dollars they earn from us.

IF they cared, this **** serious problem we are all talking about here, would be fixed.

Dont excuse these greedy people my friend.

THis isnt about ios or android.

THis is getting what we paid for!!!!!!!

I'm not your friend.

If you want support directly from Apple, contact Apple Support. There's a contact link right at the bottom of this page.

This forum is in addition to the Apple Support options, not a replacement.

And you don't get to dictate what Apple spends their 'billions' of dollars on. Your involvement in whether or not they get to use your money ends when you give them your money. Does your boss get to tell you how to spend your paycheck? Nope. He gives you that money for your services. You gave Apple the money for the iPhone.

Now, its right for you to expect some support. But not to dictate how they spend their money (or actually my money, as a stockholder).

THe comment on the money was not to define how they will spent it in their personal life but as to the services provided to their customers in comparison with their high pricing and also in comprison with other companies that have way lower prices and way higher servises provided to the customer.

Personally I dont buy the stock holder statement but even if its true, it says NOTHING to us here and certainly does not impress us if that was your goal.

TAke a look around you "stock holder".

Read all the comments on this topic and then think twice before provoking us with your attitude which does not honor Apple as a company.

On the other hand, if you are just a fanatic who is insulted when apple is insulted, then I rest my case.

Just like everyone in here, when I (over)pay for a (supposed to be) high quality product, I expect it to deliver as promised.

NOw, if you bought a couple of stocks and suddenly became the new Tim Cook, well...

Tim... Steve will rise if you go on like this and haunt you!!!!!

and about the "friend" comment...

IM sorry. Im sure you're not used to being called that way!!!!

I Have had this issue for the past two weeks now since updating my 4s to 8.0.2. I have even phoned Apple about the issue and followed every step they recommended without success, including restarting, restoring network data, fully restoring to factory settings Etc, plus simple things like switching on and off aeroplane mode. I've been an Apple customer for about 7 years now, so I am quite dissapointed with the lack of communication, and progress information about this issue which clearly a lot of people have.
