IOS 8.0.2 wifi issues
Hi, I have issues with my new iPhone 6 on IOS 8.0.2
Sometimes I lose wifi connectivity and disable / enable the wifi on Settings is not enough... only chance is to reboot the phone.

Same issue, same device.
I have the same issues, iPhone 6+ iOS 8.0.2. Happened twice so far in 3 days, no WiFi networks listed, toggling WiFi/Airplane mode does nothing, I have to reboot the phone and then it will connect. I recently reset all network settings and am waiting to see if the issue is resolved.
Same here, the last few days I've been coming back home and iPhone 6 (64GB 8.0.2, Turkey) hasn't been connecting to my home Wi-Fi I tried turning Wi-Fi on and off and even turning aeroplane mode on and off but the only way it fixes itself is if I just leave the iPhone and eventually it connects its not a huge problem for me since I just end up using my mobile data which is the same speed as home wifi if not faster.
Hope Apple fixes this along with a lot of other bugs that I have submitted to the Apple bug reporter (I'm a developer)
I have an iPhone 5c and also had the problem with the phone not connecting to my home's wifi after the 8.02 update. See the YouTube video below, this has fixed the problem for me. Basically all you are doing is changing the DNS settings to Google's (8.8.8.8)
Same deal. I'm not even convinced it's iOS 8.0.2. wifi just hangs. The signal is good and shows full bars. I'm 10 feet away from my access point. It works, and then it just doesn't. If you turn off wifi and turn it back in every few minutes, lol, it comes back.
Meanwhile an iPad air on 8.0.2 sitting right beside the iPhone 6, connects to the exact same sites and has no problems.
FIX THIS APPLE!!
I went to the Sprint store- and the guy went into
When I got home, re-entered my wi-fi information - and it's been all GOOD since then.
Hope this helps!
After I done dismantled my network, trying to figure the issue with the Wi-Fi connectivity on my Ipad air, then come to find out that this is a bug...:-(.. Urrrr come on Apple get it together..
iPhone 5S -same problem with wifi. Switch "off" and switch "on" wifi help to reconnect. For what we need to install this useless, making everything worse, update?
Did anyone try my suggestion in my previous post? It fixed my wifi problem.
I just tried it and doesn't work. I have a router and a devolo device. I can connect to devolo, but not to router. I can't change the dns there since the error is " incorrect password all the time. All my computers around the house are connected to this device, just my apple **** devices no
Just tried, same as before, it works only for 10 minutes....
Did you restart your phone after changing DNS settings? Mine works all day long now. I have a Netgear router. In any event, Apple needs to fix this ASAP.
I think that DNS fix may help people who are connecting to their WiFi but can't get to the Internet. I don't think it will help those of us whose phones are not connecting to WiFi at all and then get a message of "Cannot Scan For Wireless Networks" when trying to connect.
I may give it a shot if the problems persist. Can't hurt. Might help through some kind of magic.
I reset my phone completely and restored from backup and the problem appears to be happening with less frequency now at least. I no longer want to hurl my phone out the window. I just give it angry glares now.
Iphone 6 updated and not dropping connection. Try making sure your router is set to AES algorithms only. Not TKIP+AES. Let us know if this fixes the connection dropping issue. This setting is under Wireless Security.

I am having the same issue, but even if it does work, what if a public network is using TKIP+AES or another encryption method, the iphone 6 plus should connect to any router regardless as long as the correct password is entered like any other device .
