Same issue, same device.
Well I am having a 'similar' problem.
Firstly, wi-fi is actually working ok for me and has never dropped out (iPhone 6 128gb).
The problem I am having is with Airplay and Airprint not working at all.
I cant even see the Airplay icon with IOS8.0.2 on both my i6, my partners i5s and my iPad3.
It works fine on my partners daughters iPad mini using ios7 though.
Same issue. Same device. Reset phone, reset router, reset network settings. It's gotta be a phone thing. IPad Air on iOS 8.0.2, iPhone 5S on iOS 8.0.2, and iPhone 6 on 8.0.2, all on same wifi network. Only the iPhone 6 is not seeing it, or dropping off, or going back and forth. Appointment tomorrow at Apple Store - should be a new phone...
same issue, replaced phone same. All my other wifi connected devices - ipad, internet receiver, lap top iphone 5C work. could it be the new wifi card in the iphone6 doesn't work with older routers?
It must be the iOS 8.0.2. I had no issues with my 5 before that software downgrade. I constantly lose my home wifi connection. It's RIDICULOUS!!! APPLE, PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

Done
Since buying an iPhone 6 Plus the wifi connection has been continually dropped. Things did not improve when I updated to iOS 8.0.2. I have lost count of the number of serious bugs I have encountered in iOS 8. It is making me want to give up on Apple.
Reported the issue. Apple thanked me for making their IPhone better. But Mr. Cook who's going to fix my IPhone 6. Thanks for sucking all the fun out of my new IPhone.
Thanks, David! Done. 🙂
THose of us with iPads having severe problems too. If interested check out "IOS 8 problems with iPad" string
Same issue with the new iPhone 6 occasionally losing WiFi, iOS 8.0.2.
Submitted bug report too.
Hard reset resolves the issue for me, but only temporarily. Seems to happen regularly. For two weeks it was fine, then I lost Wi-Fi two days ago and today again.
Just to share
I compared my 5s with my friend's using same ios 802 and i saw that my friend's did not have wifi problem.
When i checked the settings, the only difference was the cellular data was set to "OFF"
Then i tried to disable my cell data too and i felt the wifi was as good as my friend's
Then i reset setting in cellular data and i felt better wifi too (maybe temporary, still testing)
So in summary i suspected that somehow wifi was in conflict with the cellular data
If thats true please someone to inform apple about this to speedup the fix
Thanks
Sorry for my bad english
Same issues here!! iPhone 6 plus with 8.02.... always loss wifi connection in the middle of the work. I was blaming the wireless router, then turns out only my phone lost connect, but iPhone 5, galaxy of colleagues works fine.
That's what I've also noticed. If I turn off cell data, I don't lose my wifi. I just have to remember to turn it back on again. It's a pain! I did mention it in my report to Apple. Thanks!
