FaceTime camera appears off-center

I noticed today that on my iPhone 6 the FaceTime camera on the front appears way off-center. I've attached a photo, but it's a little hard to see. It doesn't seem to interfere with the camera, but I don't really know that without a comparison and I haven't seen any other iPhone 6 in person to compare how it looks. Should I

take this in to have looked at?

I do have a screen protector on my phone, but not because I had any scratches on the screen. I didn't actually add one until I'd had mine for about 2 months, so no, I wouldn't immediately replace the screen protector until I knew I had a keeper.

I don't keep my phone in my pocket. I keep my phone in a hard candy shell case, which is then holstered when not in use.

It's definitely not universal. None of the iPhone 6/6+ units I've seen have this issue, and I work with a lot of them.

I know it's not. I know a lot of people with iPhone 6. Not one of them has a crescent moon over their facetime camera. But I'm sure that's little comfort to someone who has this issue. It only serves to let others know this is not affecting every iPhone 6.

If you need more convincing, go to the Apple store and look at the display models. You will see more than 50% of the black iPhone 6's have this issue.

None of the iPhone 6 display models at my local Apple Store have this issue. None of the devices I've personally used or serviced has exhibited this issue.

What ar you trying to convince anyone about? That some percentage of iPhone 6 units have this issue? No one is debating that. It's been shown, even on the first post of this thread. Yes, the issue exists on some units. But it's like you're trying to prove it's a pervasive problem. It's not.

If your particular iPhone 6 has an issue, get Apple to look at it. How does whether or not other iPhone 6 units have this issue affect your personally in any way?

Hi everyone. My space grey 64gb iPhone 6 had the same issue. I called the Apple Store and asked if it was even worth me bringing the phone in and the manager insisted I bring the phone in so that Apple could document the issue - it sounded to me like they were aware of it. I took it in and they replaced the screen no questions asked. The camera issue has been resolved to this point (2 weeks in with the new glass). I will note that every single space grey iphone 6 on display at the store had the issue.

Good to hear you got your device replaced.
