I am on my second phone with the same issue. This forum is FOR telling and discussing issues. If you don't like it or want to read it then don't be on this thread.
No, it's not. It's for getting technical assistance from your fellow users. Discussion or debate about Apple's policies or procedures is not allowed. Read the Terms of Use again. [https://discussions.apple.com/terms-and-conditions!input.jspa] If you don't like those Terms of Use or want to follow them, then don't be on this forum at all.
Quoted from the Terms of Use:
Submissions
- Stay on topic. Apple Support Communities is here to help people use Apple products and technologies more effectively. Unless otherwise noted, do not add Submissions about nontechnical topics, including:
- Speculations or rumors about unannounced products.
- Discussions of Apple policies or procedures or speculation on Apple decisions.
Everyone that has this issue, you need to contact Apple. In most every case, there has not been shown that this cosmetic effect is causing a problem with the camera. Therefore, directing you to contact Apple is the appropriate response.
Discussing your feelings and opinions about Apple's response is a discussion to Apple's policies. Therefore, it's in violation of the Terms of Use.
Your opinion is irrelevant. All that matters is the facts and the guidelines. There are other forums you can visit if you want to gripe/whine/complain. But that is not the intent or function of this forum.
The technical question here is: What should I do about the off-center camera?
The answer is: Contact Apple for your support options if you feel that it is impairing your use of the device.
That's it. Everything else is extraneous and pointless. No one here can change or influence Apple's policies. Apple is not here to monitor discussion for feedback.
