iPhone 6 Music Volume Drop After Notification

I Also have this issue In 8.1.

sometimes the volume drops even without a notification coming through.

as a temporary fix, i send myself an email and when the email comes through, the volume pops back up again.

Maybe upgrading to 8.1.1 will help?

I am having this god **** problem as well, come on fix it.

Same problem here, though not only when there's a notification (but just like there would have been one). Highly annoying. running 8.1.1 but I see there's an update. Going to try it.

same issue here. every time i play pandora or music from itunes via blutooth, volume drops so low i cant hear much. im running the latest iOS downloaded few days ago. i have iphone 5

I am experiencing the issue and now running 8.1.2.

I'm still experiencing the issues under 8.1.2 (iPhone 5s). IIRC I did not have this issue prior to 8.1.

This issue affects streaming audio services, streaming video, local audio, and local video. Basically if you're running any kind of media, the audio issue occurs.

Again, it's as if a notification comes in, though there's no actual notification sound or popup of any kind (at least for me). The audio drops as it would for a notification but does not return to normal without intervention (kill the media app and restart playback) or without waiting several minutes.

I thought it was only me having problems with this, glad and sad to hear I'm not alone!

As a quick work around if you Fast Forward or rewind for 2 seconds the volume returns to normal. After doing this sometimes when it proceeds to the next music track it will have the same issue. Gets really frustrating and I wish they would look at repairing this asap.

I'm experiencing this issue as well (iPhone 5s). Started when I loaded iOS 8.1, so far none of the updates have resolved it. Extremely frustrating!! I don't even bother trying to stream music from my phone to any of my devices anymore.

I have the same problem .. using latest iOS and iphone 5s. Its so annoying especially when you are listening to a high beat song!

The quickest and easiest fix I found was .. if you have buttons on your headphones, click the middle one for a couple of secs so siri pops up and then click it again so it closes and the song resumes. This fixes the volume and you dont need to take the phone out of your pocket.

If you dont have buttons on your headphones, take the phone out click the middle button till siri pops and then shut her down.

I hope the fix comes soon so I can start enjoying my music uninterrupted

Apple please fix or acknowledge the issue and let us know your release priorities. This one is serious. one of the main device outputs is not functioning appropriately!

Same problem here. I found a very strange solution and it is: if you kill Facebook running at background, volume boosts up to original capacity and I get what I used to and want to hear... It seems any app that may have the possibility using sounds i.e. Facebook, i.e notifications, dramatically decreases volume.

Waiting for a fix ASAP Apple.

It is so annoying listening with a baby sleeping volume.
