I have this problem too. I've already tried to replace Network definitions and had no luck. This is a serious issue because i have to pay for 3G/4G data usage! I've payed a loto for this iphone and i need this to be fixed asap!
SyberCorp,
I feel your pain and I agree it is a bug. I have had my own issues with the upgrade but not as severely as yours.
When wifi works with everything perfectly before an update and later after the update the wifi still works with everything except the iphone/ipad and one has to go through hoops troubleshooting other electronic devices (rebooting, resetting addresses, yada yada yada, God forbid one might think that the issue is the iphone/ipad and all evidence points to the iphone/ipad) in order for the iphone/ipad to once again work with the wifi device is a bug. If it is not a bug then why do the other wifi devices not have issues as well?
Thanks. It amazes me that as technically inclined as the current generation of users are, they still can't seem to grasp the concept that if something is working without an issue, then you change a variable (such as performing an update/upgrade), and then you start having problems, you don't start troubleshooting the things which have not changed (i.e., the device, the router, the SSID, the certificate, etc). If a problem didn't exist until "X" was installed, the problem is most likely "X", not the device on which "X" was installed or the devices that the device connects to.
Troubleshooting step 1 should always be (unequivocally): What was the last thing that changed in the environment before the problem began to occur?
SO what are you going to do? Just sit and wait for Apple to patch the bug 6 months from now or try to deal with it with fixes that have worked for many other uses. Yes it is something that was triggered by the alas update, but can be fixed on your own most of the time. Common sense, ddeal with it and move on. Shame on Apple for not acknowledging this and providing a way to address it.
That's exactly what I plan to do, unless you can provide me with the source-code for iOS 8.3 and the signing keys to allow me to install whatever patches I write to the iDevice once I finish fixing it.
Also, if you had bothered to read any of my previous posts you'd know that just about everything that can be done from a user perspective has already been attempted.
You should have stopped at "yes it is something that was triggered by the ... update". It cannot be "fixed" on your own; as I've now said quite a few times already, the problems can be TEMPORARILY worked around to give the users a small amount of relief, but those workarounds are not guaranteed to work at all (let alone 100% of the time) and a successful workaround for one user may not be a successful workaround for another user (the workaround that once worked for a user may even only work ONCE for that same user/device if the WiFried bug strikes again). The nature of the WiFried bug is that it is random, and affects different users and devices differently, and unless you can patch the device firmware (like an update does during the installation process) with a permanent fix whatever you do will only be temporary.

This 'bug'
How come it does not affect the majority of users?
The WiFried bug has the largest thread of all time on Apple's forums, so I'd say that it DOES affect a VERY large amount of iOS users (whether it's a majority is up to someone to do the math). You should probably do the research on your own but I'll save you some of the hassle: iOS 8 Wi-Fi problems
Have a nice day
Thank you. Sorry if it seemed like I was snapping at you in my previous reply. You have a good day, too.

That statement is untrue, which does not help to support the argument really.
"...it at last acknowledged the existence of a bug which has spawned the largest iOS thread on Apple Support Communities..." (source: http://www.forbes.com/sites/gordonkelly/2015/04/17/apple-ios-8-3-nasty-bugs/).
I'm not going to argue with you about the validity of the article's statement but if you feel more comfortable with it, I'll rephrase MY statement to say that it is ONE OF the largest threads of all time on Apple's forums.
The really long threads here are far longer than this one, regardless of what some financial news hack may imagine.
good luck with your problem, maybe the Forbes helpline can assist you.
Since you only seem to want to be a non-contributing and argumentative member of the community, I'll just stop replying to after this and wish you the best of luck in your quest to waste everyone else's time.
Thanks, you can't be wrong if you don't post.
One more reply just to point out the fact that you have not given any example or proof of anything I've said in any of my posts to be wrong or inaccurate. All you've managed to do is show everyone that you like to be disruptive and argumentative for no apparent reason.
I thought you were not going to post, or did you not mean that.
